Good Switch, does what it's supposed to, timely shipping.
I don't generally write reviews but was annoyed by the reviewer from October 2020 whining that he didn't receive a diagram or schematic so he gave it 3 stars. If you don't know how to drive a standard shift vehicle, but you buy a standard shift vehicle anyway, it is not the dealerahips fault for not teaching you how to drive it. Those that can do, those that can't hire an expert. With that said, I am very pleased with this switch and with this seller. The switch arrived on the day promised, and seems sturdy and well made. It latches with a solid click in each direction. Was very happy with the wired connectors provided, and they were done to the perfect length to allow for the cross connection without an unyielding amount of overage, so it will tuck nicely when installed. Connection is very basic. It's 3 prongs left and 3 right. One side is labeled 1 ( 1a, 1, 1b) and the other side is 2 (2a, 2, 2b). The middle prongs are where tge power goes in from your battery or fuse panel. Doesn't matter which side you pick, but if you connect positive (red wire) to 1, then 1a and 1b are positive charged, and vice-versa. You connect the end of the blue jumper that has 2 outputs to 1a, and you connect the other connector to 2b. Then the long end of the blue end to the positive terminal of your 12v dc motor. Do the opposite with the other side; double end to 2a, small connector to 1b, long wire to other dc motor terminal. When you flip the switch to the a side the motor will run clockwise, switch to b makes it run counter-clockwise. Simple, well made, easy to use. I will be buying more switches from this seller in the future.

Wire by instructions not picture
Just installed and works perfect. Had to wire by description to get illumination only when switch on, black and red to motor. when I wired as in picture the switch still functioned as it should but was always lit. So I guess depends if you want lighted feature to indicate has power so can find in dark, or switch lit to indicate you have activated switch. I wanted the latter so I didn’t forget and leave it on. Used on an rv bed lift.

Mounting Hole True Measurements With a Caliper
True measurements of the switch body for mounting hole is as follows: 0.84" on the narrow side, 1.29" across the long side including compression tab, 1.075"across long side not including compression tabs. This switch could be pushed THROUGH a hole that is listed on this page that is 1.5"x1.1" This and many other switches have a bezel that covers the hole the switch fits into. The switch body size is the governing factor for a mounting hole, not the bezel size. The mounting hole should be greater than 0.84" on the short side and less than 1.29" on the long side. The compression tabs would not work in a 1/8" panel because they are not designed to grip a panel that thick. It appears the tabs are designed for a 1/16" to 3/32" thick panel. In my opinion , the hole should be about 0.88" x 1.25" and a 1/16" thick panel. This will allow for the compression tabs to hold the switch firmly when it is pressed into a plate. This is the size I will use for a FrontPanelExpress dotcom design for a mounting plate for 5 of these switches plus a momentary key switch.

Works great, nice and clicky
This is working great to control a 12v tubular motor connected to a chicken coop pop door. It would be nice to have the LED always on as an option - but, contrary to one of the answers above, it only lights up when pressing up or down on the switch.

Value priced, meets or exceeds description, works as advertised and is a value.
I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

Good value.
I needed to replace the switch on my kiddos power wheels but wanted a water proof switch, These switches have a nice rubber boot on them that helps seal it. They are very easy to install and look nice too! i like that they come with pig tails and pins so you don't have to buy those separate. Very good quality for the money and quite durable so far.

Frustrated about non-standard dimensions
These functionally work fine. They are fine if you only want one switch but you better also buy the proprietary mount from the same company. This is NOT the same as the standard rocker panel switch size that's roughly 37.5 mm x 21mm. These are about 26mm x 21mm. (The same 21mm width also means you can't simply buy an adapter to fit the switch into a larger size standard hole). So if you are hoping to use multiple adjascent switches in some standard panel mount, you are out of luck. I am very frustrated with these switches and realize I should have purchased any different brand that uses a standard size to provide a hundred more possible mounting solutions.
