Joseph Joseph Wash & Drain Kitchen Dish Tub Wash Basin with Handles and Draining Plug, 9 liters/2.3 Gallons, White/Green

We're remodeling our kitchen so I'm without our sink (and dishwasher and all of our kitchen appliances) and am using this Joseph Joseph sink in our utility sink to do dishes. It is working out perfectly! Efficiently sized but plenty big enough to wash full size dinner plates, stemmed wineglasses, etc. I'm very happy with it!

I am extremely happy with this wash tub. Why? It's sturdy. It doesn't stain. It's perfectly made to be able to clean it easily. It has carrying handles. The underside design lifts it from the sink so that there's less space to get soiled. The drain cover twists on and off easily, and water doesn't leak. The design is so well thought-out. I love it!

I bought this for several reasons and I like it so much I plan to purchase another. I wanted it because my garbage disposal is broken and I want to buy a new sink and disposal at the same time. I need a way to keep food and debris from going into the disposal and this will work fine for that. It holds water tightly until you open the drain. It was just delivered two days ago and I realized that it was also the answer to a germophobe's dream…I do not put silverware and some other items in the dishwasher. Even with a clean sink I hate to put anything food related in there. This Wash and Drain fit perfectly in my sink…it is a standard 33x22 over mount with two bowls. Rather than wash one piece of silverware at a time, wasting water…I put everything in the tub and let it soak…then opened the drain and because it takes forever for soap suds to go away then I was able to rinse each individual item. I'm hoping that when I get a one bowl sink and have this removed I will just be able to drain water from the Joseph and Joseph tub and rinse all a once in the tub. When I buy another it ill be to wash fruits and veggies. For such a small amount of money this is a terrific find. I love the Joseph and Joseph company. I have quite a few of their products. One of my favorites is their olive jar spoon. I think it is such a clever and very useful invention just like this tub. Oh and I must mention these are made very well. Great quality products!!! This tub is VERY sturdy! Thank you for making my life easier!

If you are expecting or have recently had a baby, you need one of these! I was getting bogged down in the kitchen with all of my pump parts, bottles, etc that I was having to wash every day. I got one of these during a late-night Amazon scroll and am so glad I did! I fill mine up with my dirty bottles and pump parts, add soap and hot water, and when I'm ready to do the dishes just rinse them out and give them a quick clean out with a bottle brush. They are always clean and it has saved me so much time. I also now use this for laundry when I need to treat a stain on a small item (like baby clothes)! I love that I can set it in the sink and drain it from the bottom. plus the handles are so nice! I have never had an issue with it leaking where the drain is and have been using it for months.

Functional, great quality, lightweight. I got this for my van conversion. First I got the stone/sage color because I don’t like bright colors but it was too drab so I sent it back and ordered the white. I was thrilled to find that is not NOT a stark cool white but a wonderful creamy white, and the stopper is a rich, clean new grass green. I am super happy!!

I have a white one and a green one. They fit nicely stacked under my sink when not in use. They fit side by side in my sink. I'm under water rationing. I use these to wash dishes by hand with less water. First of all, they are smaller than my sink, so I don't need as much water to get to any depth. Second, I run the hot water into the designated rinse bucket until the water is hot enough to wash dishes. Then I already have a bucket half filled with water for rinsing. Third, I can then take the rinse bucket to my garden and water my roses. I've also used these to defrost frozen meat. Weight the watertight-wrapped frozen meat down with a heavier dish and cover with cold water. Again, uses less water than if I did this in the sink, and I can reuse the water. Another water saving tip: Before starting the dishwasher, run the hot water into a bucket until hot. Use the saved water for some other purpose. Now the dishwasher will take less energy to bring the water up to dishwashing temp. OK, that's enough hippie-granola-loving-California-stuff for now. I'll go hug a tree later... Also nice that you can soak dishes and not take up sink space. Just lift it out of the sink and put it on the counter The drain feature is convenient, filters out larger items when draining. On my white bucket (which has a green drain plug) part of the drain plug has chipped off, but it still works and holds water. I don't remember seeing this when I received the item, nor do I remember breaking it myself. I'm slightly disappointed, but like I said, it still holds water. I wish these were dishwasher (even top rack) safe. Then when it gets all greasy (like when my husband uses it to wash the deep-fryer basket (See, we don't just love granola, we love all foods equally (not true).)) I could throw it in the dishwasher instead of having to wash it by hand.

キッチンで使うタオル、布巾、台拭きを漂白するために購入しました。 当初漂白剤に耐えられる素材として琺瑯の洗い桶を検討したのですが、価格が高く断念。次に 検討したステンレスの洗い桶を購入しました。目的には適合しましたがデザイン的に如何にも 無骨なので、再度検索してこの洗い桶を見つけました。 素材がポリプロピレンだったのでカスタマーQ&Aに漂白剤に耐えられるか質問したところ、 日常的に漂白剤を入れて使っていると言う方から回答があり、大丈夫とのことだったので購入 を決めました。 まだ一回しか漂白に使っていませんが、とても使いやすかったです。 良かった点： 1．漂白剤に耐えられる。ただしいつか劣化が現れるかも知れません。でもウィキペディアで 調べたところ、以下のように記載されていました。これなら大丈夫でしょう。 ポリプロピレンは汎用樹脂の中で最高の耐熱性を誇り、比重が最も小さくて水に浮かぶと いう特徴を有する。さらに汎用樹脂としては比較的、強度が高く、耐薬品(酸、アルカリを 含む)性に優れ、吸湿性が無いといった特長も有している。 2．洗い桶をひっくり返さなくても中に入れた水を抜ける。漂白に使う場合には何度かすすぎの ために水を張り直す必要がありますが、排水キャップを回すだけで排水、注水が出来るので とても便利です。 3．底の四隅と排水口の周りに足があるので、水を一杯張っても変形する恐れが無い。 4．排水キャップは簡単に回せる。一部キャップが固いと投稿されている方がおられましたが、 ひょっとしたら個体差があるのかも知れません。私が購入した物は全く問題ありませんでした。 5．ハンドルがあるので、水を張った状態でも移動が容易。 イマイチな点：ありません。 早くこの商品を見つけ出せれば良かったです。余計な買い物をせずに済んだはず。

Cette bassine est très solide et bien conçue. Elle me sert à récupérer l'eau de lavage des légumes. Je m'en sers ensuite pour arroser. Les deux poignées sont très pratiques.

I bought one of these Joseph Joseph bowls back in 2015 with money given to me for my birthday. It's not cheap, but I loved the look of it so much I decided to treat myself. It lasted me through10 years of everyday use and had only just started looking a little tired. I had no hesitation in getting a new one in the Amazon sale a couple of months ago, and I'm so glad I did because the new one is so much smoother and stain resistant. I had forgotten what a pleasure it is to use. The bowl is very elegant, but also very practical. The centre piece turns to lock it so you can put it somewhere and fill it with water without worrying about leaking. Draining it is easy and quick. I have found that it saves water and now I'd find it hard not to have it, I'm so used to it. The handles mean it's easy to move around comfortably. It has a coating that protects it very efficiently from potential stains. It's so easy to rinse off gravy residue or sauce from the bottom. It just glides off. So it stays hygienic and elegant and odour free. No need to use harsh chemicals to clean it. In fact, it is recommended not to use bleach as it will damage this silky coating. The bowl fits my sink really well and gives a lot of space to wash up. It's particularly good for your special china and glass, but because it rinses so well it's also great for rinsing vegetables and fruits. Someone said that it is spoiled by stickers that are very difficult to get off. I was able to get the stickers off really easily by slowly peeling them away, as I had done with my first one. I would highly recommend this fabulous washing-up bowl. I love it. My old one now has a new job because I couldn't bring myself to part with it. I now use it when I'm crafting. Absolutely worth every penny.

These are a marvellous invention. No more lifting heavy bowls when soaking a garment or washing wool. Just release the plug and let the water drain away. Perfect.
