CRC 05078 Throttle Body and Air-Intake Cleaner - 12 Wt Oz.

CRC makes the best cleaners ever. That's all I buy. It cleaned my Throttle body very well. It removed all the carbon from the body plate. It dries in 3 minutes. It's great stuff. It is very effective. Great value for the money. Streak free. Nice size bottle that will last me for years. Very durable. Highly recommend.

Great product, my 5.7 litre Dodge had a slightly rough idle, a simple cleaning with this product solved that problem. Quickly cut intake residue without heavy fumes or special equipment.

Had the classic situation of a generator (ie. small engine) with a carburetor and both jets gummed up by E10 fuel. I was able to clean the carb and 1 of the 2 jets manually, but couldn't figure out how to pull the 2nd jet to clean it. Generator ran better after cleaning, but still surged a lot / ran rough. Put this Fast Fix stuff in the tank and ran it for 5 to 10 minutes and the engine ran more and more evenly. Still can't push the choke all the way back in after starting (have to carefully set the choke to get it to run smoothly, but it's way better than before.) It's not magic, but it does seem to work well enough. If you can't work on your engine yourself or don't have a small engine mechanic nearby, it's definitely worth a shot.

Seemed to have done a nice job. My 2002 Mustang GT throttle body wasn’t that dirty, but I wanted to clean it up as it’s an older car. Just be sure to read and follow the directions and you will be good.

I used this to clean my 2014 F150 5.0 throttle body while it was off for a water pump install. The backside of the throttle plate was full of gummy oil varnish. I initially sprayed it down, scrubbed with a toothbrush and repeated a few times. Inside of the throttle body was shining like brand new when complete and I still had well over half a can left of the cleaner. CRC cleaner just melted the oil varnish away quickly. update: My sunfire heater was running rough, smokey start up and smell when running. I had half a can left so I used it to clean my diesel heater fuel nozzle. It melted residue off the nozzle until it was shiny new clean, blew it off and dried with a lint free shop towel. Installed and had a smoke free start up and the heater is running like new.

Very good cleaning material and good quality for breaking up deposits. Was able to use only 1/4 of the can.
