I bought this to give myself an at home perm. Why do you need these? A long time ago, i didn't know the answer to this question, and i gave myself a perm without these. The ugly, crinkly tips on the end of an otherwise beautiful spiral is the reason. Taking a section of hair, and folding one of these papers in half and filling approximately 3/4s of the paper with your hair before wrapping your hair around the roller allows you to smooth the paper onto super small rollers in a way that catches your hair ends in a flat, even manner. This traps flyaways or uneven lengths of hair, and gives you an easier surface to wrap than the natural stopping point of your hair. These papers were great. I hadn't used papers from a box that was designed for dispensing them individually before, so i opened the box wrong, and papers went flying. After picking them up, restacking them, putting them back in the box, and opening the box on the perforated lines, i was impressed. And i felt incredibly silly. Maybe this feature was obvious to everyone else, but incase you weren't aware, i hope this head's up helps you. It was very easy to use, much more helpful than not having this box design. These papers worked perfectly to prevent crinkly-ended spirals. Hint: if this is your first time doing an at home perm, you can wrap a couple strands of "bone dry" hair on a curling rod and leave it for 30 minutes with NO PRODUCT. Then remove the curler, and if your hair is like mine, you'll have a beautiful little curl. It doesn't last too long, but it lasts long enough to give you an idea of what your curl will look like, and give you an idea of whether or not you have a good wrap technique as far as making sure your ends aren't crinkled.

These end wraps are fantastic for doing perms or roller sets. The paper is strong and highly absorbent, so it holds saturation perfectly without tearing or falling apart when wet. The 2.25" x 3.25" size is just right for wrapping ends cleanly and smoothly. Great professional quality product

These work just fine for perming and you get a lot for the price. The box is a bit flimsy, I had to tape it up to keep everything contained but that’s a small thing.

I'm using these hair wraps for an entirely different purpose than intended - as oil blotting sheets! They're excellent value compared to the typical $5 - $10 per pack I'd usually have to spend (for 50 or 100 sheets). They don't work *quite* as well as C&C's blue sheets, but at the rate that I go through those puppies, this is a sensible alternative and I'm happy with the results when taking into account the $savings$! I have super oily skin and within an hour, I have that healthy "glowy" look to my skin but within 2 - 3 hours, it's degraded into oil slick territory. I try not to let my shiny, oily skin get to me, but it also makes my makeup start to slide off my skin! I almost always have active acne plus lots of hyperpigmentation and scars that I want to conceal so I need to blot frequently to ensure that my makeup stays in decent shape throughout the day. I use a minimum of two of these every two hours or so and powder a tiny bit afterwards if I want to look super matte.
