As per usual, National Geographic Kids books are a great gift. Especially the hardcover versions-- super durable to ensure it will last for years to come. The print quality is vibrant and the pages are thick so as to not rip easily.

Lots of facts and pictures!
This was a gift to my grandsons and they love books like this. As soon as I gave it to them, they read it cover to cover. It's a large hardcover book with lots of pictures. Well constructed and held up in my suitcase over a 1500 mile plane ride in checked luggage.
