Some letters and lines are so small they are hard to use

These stencils were better than what I expected. I bought them for the fancy font and was worried the finer lines in certain letters would not translate on a large scale. The plastic is sturdy and if you measure your gaps between characters right, these are really nice to use. I feel better that they are not one time use. Other reviews had complaints of missing letters- my set had all of them, although a couple do look similar.The project I bought them for was painting my family name and house number on a large rock by the road. The paint did end up getting under the stencil in a few spots, but this was due to the uneven and vertical surface I was painting on and, not using a very high quality brush. The stencils did an excellent job and the lettering is large enough to see clearly even though the rock is set back from the road a little bit.

Using these for wood projects. Clean cuts on the stencils themselves. Very useful.

I ordered these stencils to dress up my axe throwing target in my back yard. Everyone love how the target looks now and cannot believe it is my creation. They all say it looks better than the professional axe throwing targets at the clubs.The stencils were easy to use and layout. I can't wait to use them on something else.

They are very thin, so you have to be careful. But they are nice, and they are large, so I am very pleased with them overall. I would buy them again.

These are really nice stencils, something for every occasion/holiday. These are small enough to add a personal touch to stationary and large enough to hand embroidery, especially on hand made clothing for my great grand babies. The two designs I have used so far turned out even better than I had hoped. They are sturdy enough to reuse often and easy to clean, even after paint embroidery. If something happens to any of them, I will certainly buy them again. If the seller offers more, I'll be near the front of the line.

While I liked the opportunity to receive the complete alpha and # set, I am concerned about the ease of working with this. The plastic sheets are thinner when compared to other sets I have just received. With the large amount of characters set close together, this too may impact the ease.

The stencil proved awesome- used acrylic paint onto metal- TIP: I did discover that with this medium, it's best to lift the stencil off sooner rather than later otherwise the excess along the perimeter of the stencil bonds to the surface paint and causes lifting/peeling a bit along the edges. Easily corrected when after it dried [cured] fully I repositioned the stencil over those 2 letters and with a brush filled in the small gaps.
