BEST thing to use without a prescription!!!! TRUST me! works for BV and YEAST
For approximately 8-10 years now I have been BATTLING chronic and recurrent vaginal issues. The main symptoms I have been tackling include: 1.EXCESSIVE vaginal discharge, with a consistency which varied from being runny to being thick. The quantity was always profuse ie needs a liner on panties daily or panties would have a substantial amount of discharge every day. The color would vary from white to yellowish 2.Occasional itching and burning, itching mostly prominent when a full blown yeast infection was present I did not experience any foul odor nor did I experience pain during sex. I went from doctor to doctor trying to resolve the excessive discharge. I would be treated for BV through prescriptions antibiotics. This would always lead to a yeast infection (which would then cause the discharge to become thick and curdly, and also would cause the itching and burning). Then I would get treatment for a yeast infection, using prescription fluconazole. The cycle would repeat all the time, swinging from being treated for BV to yeast, then the excessive discharge would return within a few days and once again the cycle of BV and yeast treatment would begin. Often I would get so frustrated with having to go to the doctor (and of course this was expensive), so I tried EVERY OTC treatment you can think of, including creams like Monistat and even douches and all kinds of so-called treatments and suppositories. I also tried taking oral probiotics but never saw a notable improvement in my symptoms, even when taking the refrigerated and expensive kind. I cannot pinpoint the exact cause of my initial issues, but I suspect that it started with an imbalance in my micro-flora caused by having unprotected sex with a partner who was unfaithful (he thus brought undesired micro-organisms and bacteria into my vaginal environment). I grew increasingly depressed and despondent, feeling as though I would never feel normal again. I thought there was surely no hope for me and I would be imprisoned by the use of panty-liners and douches to address the physical symptoms. Then, I stumbled across a review of Flora Femme when researching BV and yeast home treatments. I immediately put in an order for one bottle (6 capsules). I figured that the was nothing to lose but potentially something to gain ie NORMALITY. I was immediately emailed by customer service at flora Femme, advising me on how to use the product and wishing me well with my use thereof. The email was warm, comforting and encouraging. I replied to the email, telling of my story and how I hoped the flora Femme would work. Little did I know that the email was infact directly from the product's owner...now im sure she doesn't reply to every single email, but fate was on my side and she felt empathy towards my situation, and followed up with ANOTHER email!!! This time she gave me a WEALTH of information about the products benefits and personal advice regarding my situation. I had to add this here because this is CUSTOMER SERVICE of PLATINUM level! I used the Flora Femme. I had to use two bottles (12 capsules) because I knew my case would be stubborn at responding to treatment. The recommended dosage is 1 pill for 6 nights, but I hadn't had any luck in 10 years so I knew I should rather try two bottles (it is SAFE to prolong, repeat or double treatment of flora Femme). Well, it has been more than a week since I finished my 12day treatment. I ordered a third bottle as backup in case I would need to repeat treatment, but I have NOT used it. There has been NO need. After 10 years of having excessive daily discharge, I now have ZERO excess discharge. My discharge is a small amount and the color is transparent to cloudy white - no more visible signs of the previous unusual discharge. No itching. Nothing. Just normal and healthy light secretions, as it should be!!! I feel ENERGISED, like I have a NEW lease on life! I feel CONFIDENT and NORMAL. I have my vagina back! Lol, it no longer belongs to misdiagnosed bacterial/yeast/other issues. I would recommend this product to ANY woman who is experiencing ANY type of vaginal concern. Do this BEFORE you take prescriptions drugs or OTC treatments. Trust me, you will probably be just as in love with it as I am. I now keep a bottle in my fridge for "in-case" situations, such as if a future flare up should occur. Also, I plan to use the product once a month (1/2 capsules) at the end of my period JUST to keep things in check! And i keep the product on hand because if i notice the tell-tale signs of imbalance (trust me, after 10 yrs, i know), then i insert 1 or 2 capsules overnight and it keeps the nasties away! I also suggest using coconut oil to soothe irritated vaginal tissues due to yeast infections - but be sure to use 100% organic, unrefined, cold pressed coconut oil. I also use it as a lube during sex and i use it if i dont have any flora femme on hand - google coconut oil, you will be IMPRESSED with its antifungal, antibacterial, antiviral properties. But if you have a CRAZY infection, i find that flora femme and coconut oil work for me. The coconut oil kills the bad guys but leaves the good guys from the flora femme alone. Word of advice: use the FF at night and apply coconut oil during the day. Use a clean finger to dip into the coconut oil and insert into the vagina several times. You can also make coconut oil suppositories in the fridge and pop them into your girl and they melt away nicely and take care of business but your first step should be flora femme TRUST me on this.... and if you are dealing with a moderate to severe infection, please GIVE it TIME to work! do not be disheartened by having to repeat treatment, it took me 12 days to come right and i am using maintanance measures to stay right. Remember, yeast die off takes days to clear, so be patient. And with yeast die off, the symtoms get worse before they get better due to the release of toxins from the dying yeast, but you will be so happy if you stick to your treatment! being and feeling NORMAL again is worth the time and effort This has been a WONDERUFL finding for me and I am so happy

This product is a Godsend
If you are struggling with recurring BV, please read. I spent years figuring this out and now I'm the proud owner of a fully healthy, clear, sweet vagina. First of all, these work. Second, buy some good ole regular hydrogen peroxide at the store and some bottles of filtered water. If you have recurring BV then I'm pretty confident this will change your life. I struggled for a couple years before I knew what was going on: fishy smell during sex that totally threw me off (like, what's that smell? is that ME? oh my god *cue panic*.....).....irritated, unhappy feeling vagina every month post-ovulation (nothing extreme or overt, just a little hot/ dry/ slightly itchy feeling...to the point where I knew something was off).....when I would retrieve some discharge from way up there with my fingers and smell it (yea I did that cuz I was paranoid about BV constantly returning) it smelled like bad breath. Not good. And it looked tacky and glue-y and sticky. I knew something was off. By the way, wash your hands thoroughly every time you stick your fingers up there. There are all types of bacteria on your hands in any given normal moment and you don't want to introduce them up there. First. A word on Boric acid: I used to think this was the solution. Until I realized it was quite literally (as another Amazon poster put it) a "coochie bomb". I was "bombing" my vagina several times a month to keep the bacterial imbalance "at bay." But it never worked long term and in fact over time it seemed to make things worse. Boric acid would make me clear and fresh again...but suspiciously so....my vagina smelled and tasted like water......not a vagina....and within 48 hours the bad-breath mucus-y discharge was back stronger and faster than ever. I knew it was not the solution. In retrospect, my instincts were right.....the boric acid was cleaning EVERYTHING out of my vagina, both good and bad bacteria. I was infuriated to be told my a doctor that "there is no evidence that Boric acid kills the beneficial bacteria".....sooooo boric acid is sophisticated enough to go up there and not only distinguish among the different types but react differently to each one??? Riiiiight......ladies BEWARE OF MISLEADING LANGUAGE!!! "There is no evidence that X does Y" literally just means "we haven't even checked if that's true, therefore no evidence technically exists." Boric acid WILL kill the good bacteria too, and this is BAD for your vagina, VERY bad! All along doctors have led us to focus on the wrong treatment approach for BV. They want us to eat antibiotics for breakfast and constantly feel that we are dirty and need to get clean..... but to truly beat BV you have to ADD BACTERIA, NOT SUBTRACT IT!!! Enter vaginal probiotic suppositories. I was shocked at how difficult it was to find any online. I searched for hours and kept getting "women's probiotics" that you take orally, that supposedly help with vaginal bacteria, but FloraFemme was the only probiotic vaginal SUPPOSITORY I could find. There was one other brand but it they had parabens in them (cancer-causing) which I would never put in my vagina. So thank you FloraFemme. I tested positive for BV (gardnerella) and ureaplasma in early November. I used one bottle of FloraFemme (one suppository each night for 6 nights in a row) and then tested negative for everything 2 weeks later. Now for the maintenance piece...... HYDROGEN PEROXIDE: FUN FACT: the good bacteria in your vagina produce hydrogen peroxide naturally!!! This is how they help to keep bad bacteria away! So, introducing more HP into your vagina is not anything foreign (like boric acid)--it's *supposed* to be there! HP actually IS sophisticated enough to leave the good bacteria unharmed while killing the bad, and it's so cheap! PROCEDURE: get a clean cup, a water bottle, and a bottle of regular HP from the store. Use the water bottle cap to measure out 3 cap fulls of water into the cup, then measure 3 cap fulls of HP into the same cup. Swirl to mix. Wash your hands thoroughly with frangrance-free soap. Then use your fingers to put the mixture up your vagina as far as you can. Spread it all around the walls of your vagina with your fingers like 10 times. Do this after *every time* you have sex, AND every Monday, Wednesday Friday. The reasoning behind the MWF schedule is that if you don't have sex for a while, you will still remember to HP your vagina. The HP keeps your pH low, where it should be. In the case of vaginal care, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!!! Do not let the pH run away from you. The more you can keep it low, the better. Once it starts to creep up, you'll need to work overtime to stop the momentum from turning into BV again. Stay on top of it, it will be worth it! Be religious about it! THIS WORKS!!! For the first time in years, I am testing negative for everything, it felt so good to get that call "your culture results were 100 percent normal." I saw the lab paperwork myself---NEGATIVE all the way down!!! FINALLY!!!

I had great expectations for this product after reading the voluminous successful ...
Sorry to need to write this but . . . I had great expectations for this product after reading the voluminous successful reviews. I am sorry to say it did not work for me. Six months ago I used a different one, not being secretive I can't remember the name of that product. Anyway, it work like magic. This time I thought I'd go with what SHOULD be the best if price was any indication. It WAS NOT! With in ten days I was back where I was when beginning this product. How disappointing. I noted the numerous complaints concerning the fact there is no applicator! Really, Ladies!!! To me, and yes I realize each of us is different with different sensitivities; this fact made absolutely NO difference, in fact I prefer it that way. Why? you ask? It is so easy to tell if you have implanted the little pill way up where it belongs. So much easier. The applicator will 'probably' do the job but how will you know if the pill is at the top of your vagina? You can't unless you stick your finger up there to find it. So might as well use your finger to begin with. Heavens know this is not a pleasant, enjoyable or fun activity. I just wanted to get all those darned pills up there and be done with it! My previous product had an applicator which I used only twice for that very reason - knowledge of where the pill was. Both times, and as careful as I was, the pill refused to remain in the tiny, too tiny place it needed to be to be planted any where in the vagina. And I was unaware it, the pill, had fallen out of the tiny place it had to be. Leaving that pill just 'anywhere' is not the best planting place - the top of the vagina IS the preferred location too leave it. SO, how can you tell where it is unless you use your finger. I checked and it was very close to the bottom and I'd thought it was at the very top. Since this happened twice, I gave up and gladly began to use my finger. The above is merely my opinion and, as is said all too frequently, I have no association with or connection to or am being paid (thank goodness as they would not be happy with me about now!) by the manufactures of FloraFemme. It was nothing more than my thoughts on 'the lack of an applicator' issue. The lack of an applicator had no bearing on my decision to purchase this product. None at all. It IS your own body, you know! Now, if only I could remember or see the one I previously bought. Sorry but, no - it was not bought on Amazon. Teach me!

Flora Femme could help cure, but its also great to use as a prevenative!
This product worked for me, so far. I have battled BV for over a year and a half through a specialists care. During the process, I learned a lot about BV. I learned I was under diagnosed, and that it would be a long road to recovery. I requested a biopsy to be sure we were treating things properly, and found my skin had overactive sebaceous glands and chronic inflammation. If you have BV you may know its usually caused by lack of feminine flora, which causes your PH to be unbalanced. Elevated PH could cause BV , Low PH without the good bacteria, could cause yeast. So through a doctors care, I did his treatments which followed the cdc's guidelines, and took tons of pro-biotics orally. After about 8 months, I was cured, for about a month, then I got a yeast infection, then eventually BV again. He told me to stop everything. I was sooo irritated vaginally from all the different things going on for so long, and the creams to treat inflammation etc. I was glad but nervous. He gave me the oral Flagyl and told me to use a pro-biotic suppository. I bought flora femme using it 6 days in a row would have been a little too much for my body to handle. I felt too irritated. I lasted abt 4 days, then decided to use it twice a week. Monday, and Friday. I still do this for maintenance. Right before my cycle I feel Like something is acting up, so I use it. Right after my cycle, I use it to help lower my PH again. I feel like using it as needed is soothing for me. I can tell it helps right away. I also like it because it dissolved nicely, others were chunky. Some may think its a little messy, but just wear a panty liner. Bottom line, this is expensive, but, you don't have to use it six days in a row. I think it is best for maintenance along with your doctor's supervision with your BV. The antibiotics from a doctor alone don't fix the problem. I truly believe you need something like this product and oral pro-biotic together to cure what over use of antibiotics helps cause. I just had strep throat, and had to do a round of antibiotics, fingers crossed it doesn't mess me up again! I will do 3 days in a row of flora femme then go back to twice a week then eventually once a week, to try and prevent a disaster. Good luck ladies!

Super effective vaginal probiotic suppository.
I saw this recommended in a Reddit group so I decided to try it. Warning: It is not cheap, but it WORKS! I was having slight BV symptoms and really didnโt want to be put on antibiotics (hello fear of antibiotic resistant super bugs!) so I decided to give this a go. Literally after the first dose all symptoms were gone. It was pretty amazing. I then used it every other day just to make sure the symptoms were truly gone. And they were! I keep a bottle just in case I feel something coming on, but so far everything has been ok. IF you have bee thinking of getting this, just do it. You will love it.

Edited Review. If these are irritating you, I found a solution! Read the edit.
I think this product is too strong for delicate tissue. I've used it for two nights and I'm horribly sore and raw with strange vaginal muscle contractions. Bleeding has started as well. I know it's not my period, as I've not had a period due to an IUD for over a year now. The capsules turn into a ball of gel and it's rather gross. I think I will split the rest of these up into several different empty capsules that I know actually dissolve and see what happens. I might mix it with coco butter, coconut oil or vitamin E oil to help soothe the tissue. I've no doubt this could be a good product if they would put some thought into it. 72+ billion CFU's is great for miles of intestinal tract, but maybe not so much for a 4" vaginal canal. I did like the strains of bacteria in these though, so I decided to try it. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me and I didn't like the product. Edit: After a bit of tampering with the product, I ended up using it with some success. I opened up the capsules and made two of my own from one of theirs. I used this at night and inserted a vitamin E softgel in the AM. The bleeding, cramping, etc stopped and I feel mostly normal. As I had assumed, the product was just too strong for me. I've been battling a recurrent, non c. albicans yeast infection for 16 months! So my tissues are in serious distress. I'm thinking about ordering another bottle, making 12 capsules and using once per month as a maintenance dose for an entire year. All of the strains in this product are the correct strains for balancing vaginal microbiota. Other products lack these strains. This product has worked for some, but for others it's just too strong. I wish they would offer half the strength, double the capsules for those of us that need a gentler but prolonged treatment. Overall, it's a decent product.

This product worked! (
So after testing positive for UTI and Bacterial Vaginosis, I was prescribed doxycycline and metronidazole gel. Although the UTI symptoms went away, the BV symptoms still lingered after treatment. My discharge was not completely normal, the itch was still strong and odor was very apparent. I ended up doing a lot of research online and found many people claiming that probiotics helped alleviate these kinds of symptoms. FloraFemme was mentioned on a messageboard so I decided to look it up. After reading ALL the reviews I decided to order a bottle. I did have a few concerns based on the negative reviews I read so I decided to email customer service with a few questions before inserting the first capsule. Their response was quick and super informative! I was not expecting such a lengthy response. I predicted maybe 2-3 sentences but got 2 emails due to reaching the word limit. I received information on my types of infections, details of the product, gratitude, as well as responses to my questions. One of my concerns that I read others experienced was the capsule not dissolving or popping out. I asked if they recommended I break the capsule n make a paste instead. They informed me that it was not necessary as they switched to thinner capsules. I also expressed that my symptoms weren't severe so I wasn't sure if I should take a capsule daily. They suggested taking a capsule a week to see how my body would react. So feeling more at ease, I inserted the first capsule. It was easy to insert but I tried to see if I could take it out easily (testing if it'd pop out later) and no, it seemed to be stuck in there, possibly already dissolving. I went to sleep and when I woke up I noticed the capsule had clearly dissolved. I still felt a bit of itchiness/uncomfyness the next morning however by the next day I was great! My discharge was clear and healthy looking. I didn't feel smelly down there and the itch was all gone. I was finally able to work comfortably. Dealing with these infections and symptoms these past weeks felt like an eternity. It was so stressful and a huge mood killer. I thought I was never going to go back to normal. I'm very happy to have found FloraFemme(: I decided that I'll be taking a capsule once a month after my period to restore the flora. I'll be using this product as preventative care and to avoid odor. Lastly, HUGE thanks to Sue at FloraFemme for the exceptional customer service and to the whole team for creating such a great and effective product. I highly recommend this(

Depending on your problem, using this may be a huge mistake.
First, I have to say that I absolutely think that probiotics - oral or vaginal - do have a place when it comes to healing. However, it is very important to know (which I did not, previously) that you can be suffering from symptoms DUE TO AN OVERGROWTH OF "PROBIOTIC" LACTOBACILLI!!! My troubles started four months ago when I developed a yeast infection, which I treated in several ways, to include lots of oral probiotics. The yeast went away quickly, but I was left with a horribly red, raw, swollen vulva and a little discharge (with no change in odor at all). I went to the doctor, who thought it was BV in spite of the lack of foul odor, so she put me on oral metranidazole. I had a slight improvement after about five days, but two days after finishing the meds, I had pain, redness, swelling, and now somewhat clumpy discharge (still no foul odor). I was on vacation, so I did nothing but continue my probiotics, at least initially. Over the course of my eleven-day trip, I eventually stopped taking the probiotics out of forgetfulness. By the end of my trip, my symptoms were improving. My period started, and by the end of it, I felt almost 100% better. At this point, I was interested in preventing a further occurrence of what I thought was BV, so I decided to use florafemme. I thought it couldn't hurt because I did not believe that a person could have too much lactobacilli in her vagina. By the end of the second day, I was miserable with horrendous redness, itching, burning, swelling, and more clumpy discharge. I took a few days off, my symptoms started improving, and I thought I would try one more night of florafemme in case these were die-off symptoms. By the second day I was again in complete misery, and now the clumps in my discharge looked like small chunks of wet toilet paper. At this point, I started looking into the possibility that maybe I didn't have BV at all because almost everything I read indicated that a foul odor was the number one symptom and that redness, pain, and swelling were relatively rare with it. I discovered that you CAN have an overgrowth of normally friendly, "probiotic" lactobacilli that can cause all the symptoms I was having. This condition is called Cytolytic Vaginosis or Lactobacillosis. The toilet paper like chunks in my discharge were probably small pieces of skin (epithelial tissue) being shed because of what amounted to a chemical burn from the majorly acidic conditions in my vagina (due to an overgrowth of the lactobacilli). I am not saying that Florafemme will necessarily cause an overgrowth of lactobacilli for everyone, but that anyone who uses this needs to be absolutely certain that she is experiencing symptoms due to a yeast infection or actual BV. If there is any question, I recommend stopping all intake of probiotics, oral or vaginal and getting a definitive diagnosis. It has been about ten days since I last took Florafemme, and my symptoms are still here but manageable. Recently, I had a couple of days when I felt 100% back to normal, but after ovulation, I started having a little redness, discharge, and burning again. With lactobacillus overgrowth, symptoms often worsen between ovulation and the onset of menstruation. I'm hoping that I will balance out in the next couple of weeks, particularly after my period starts (blood is alkaline, which can worsen BV symptoms but improve symptoms due to lactobacilli overgrowth). I may try a baking soda sitz bath to alkalinize myself a bit. No more probiotics for me, at least for a long time!
