CHI Aloe Vera Curl Reactivating Spray, Enhances Waves, Curls, & Coils, Provides Intense Hydration, Sulfate, Paraben & Gluten Free, 6 Oz

My son has naturally blonde curly hair and I’ve tried tons of different products to get his curls looking the best, and this curl activator is one of my go-too sprays! I can use it alone and it makes his curls look great, or I can pair it with some gel or mousse to give extra curl!

I have extremely fine/thin hair, I wash my hair 1-2 times a week. This has become my favorite hair product, it revives my curls and gives it volume between wash days. I’ve tried so many products to do what this product does. My only minor complaint is it does cause a bit of buildup and crunch by day 3-4.

I was not blessed in the hair department, having been dealt lank, poker straight and baby fine hair that does absolutely nothing for me. I spent years getting curly perms to give myself more volume. Then I cut it super short. Then I went to medium short with blow dryer styling. Now I have come back full circle, but opting to get only one perm per year. What you see in this photo is a picture of my hair that was permed this past April and has been cut several times since. Note how much curl I got out of this and how I have so much volume, you would never know what my "real" hair is like. How did I get it to look this good? I washed it and towel dried it. Then when it was still damp, I sprayed in a generous amount if CHI Aloe Vera Curl Reactivating Spray and massaged it through my hair. Then I blew it dry with a diffuser on the dryer, using the blunted prongs in circular motions against my scalp. When I finished, I arranged my hair well including of course in back of my head. I used my fingers and a pick; and because the perm is fading at the crown, I allowed for a slight side part. I did a little bit of back combing in the front and used hairspray at the roots. Finally, I sprayed my whole head. I am very pleased with my results. All this being said, I can see how perhaps a person with a different hair type than mine might not be as pleased with this product. For example, I read one review where an individual said it made their hair texture "wiry." [In my case, "wiry" is good! LOLOL 😀] I can also see how perhaps a person with natural curls and dry hair might prefer a more moisturizing curl activator. But for me, folliculary challenged as I am, this product has been a game changer. It's giving me volume, shine AND reviving my curls! Love it!

Nice product i have thick curly hair some spots get flat helps to keep curls without frizzing a lot i use other products with it .

I’m not impressed with this leaves my hair dry and brittle feeling. The smell isn’t very pleasant either. I have curly hair and this didn’t help at all

This is another product that delivers results but the smell is not great to me. It works and leaves you hair soft and frizz less but I cannot get over the smell. Most aloe product that I have tried for curly hair have been the same. It’s a good all day product and inexpensive but I just can’t get over the smell. Sorry!

Very lite spray and great scant smell. Easy to wash out.

It is very sticky like hair spray. I was hoping for something non-sticky to revamp my second day hair but I will have to keep looking.

I shouldn't have even tried it. It leaves your hair that horrible crunchy hard and doesn’t smell that nice either when I washed it out my hair felt dry and I really wouldn’t recommend it. I tipped it down the sink.
