Looks nice and the size is perfect for a keeping a few bottles on hand. The dual zone cooling is a very good and sufficiently adjustable. I’ve seen reviews about noise and while we had issues when it was first set up it now runs very quiet. As for those issues, we followed the instructions and let it sit for a few days before starting. On initial start it was quite noisy from the compressor area and after a week or so it wasn’t getting any better. Bottom line, make sure the unit is perfectly level. Used a 2 foot carpenter’s level to check level side-to-side, front-to-back, and corner-to-corner. 75% of the noise was gone immediately after this step and within about a week it was gone completely.

I have read through several reviews online on this unit and other competitive units. If you care about honest reviews, please read on. Short review - A noisy replacement to my 10 year old Wine Enthusiast 24 bottle unit. Please stop complaining that the unit is noisy because you don't understand how refrigeration (compressor) based units work. There are some not-so-smart reviews out there who take videos of this unit complaining about the noise. If your room temperature is going to increase, the fridge needs to fire up the compressor to maintain the temperature you have set. I put mine in the garage because of the noise (problem solved). If you are considering this inside the house and care about noise pollution - this wine fridge is not for you. Long version - I am a proud owner of Wine Enthusiast wine fridge that I bought 10 years ago from another vendor. I love the simplicity and build quality. There was so much negativity these days about customer service (I will get to that as well). 2 weeks ago, my old unit stopped working. I was scrambling to find a replacement. I went back and forth between Wine Enthusiast and New Air especially for the dual temperature zone, capacity and compactness of the unit. This is a compressor based unit and is going to get noisier on hot days. Build quality - Just like my last unit, the interior looks exactly the same. The back has the compressor exposed. That is where the noise comes from. Storage capacity - you can store 32 bottles easily in this fridge. I have a couple of magnums in the bottom. Recommended location - Garage or somewhere you don't mind noise pollution. I had originally kept it indoors and moved it to my garage this past weekend. Customer service - I reached out to Wine Enthusiast for repair options for my old fridge. They were not only responsive (within 24 hours), they shared wine fridge repair technicians near my neighborhood.

The unit worked fine just long enough to fall outside the warranty period, then stopped cooling altogether. The compressor still runs, so it doesn’t appear to be an electrical issue. Most likely a refrigerant leak, which points to a potential manufacturing defect. What’s most disappointing is the lack of support. I reached out to the manufacturer and received no response. Even a simple acknowledgment would have gone a long way. Based on this experience, I can’t recommend this product or the brand if reliability and post-purchase support are important to you.

So far so good, the duel zones is great to keep reds and whites separate at different temps. It does struggle a little to keep the upper section at a higher temp that the lower section. I have them set for 52and 45 degrees. The bottom section stays consistent but the upper will sometimes drop to 49 then recover back to 52 so not exactly where I want it but close enough. It did fit perfectly into the the spot on the bar where I placed it so for the size and the amount of bottles is holds as great!!!!

It is advertised, dual-zone control which works as intended, holds 30 bottles easily, looks nice. I've only had it for two weeks so long-term performance is impossible to determine at this time. Would buy it again.

I believe for the money this cooler is spot on. Love it for its size and the fact that it has duel zone cooling. It looks good standing alone although one could build it into a cabinet. The temp range does vary 3-4 degrees however I suspect it has to do with cycling on and off. The chrome racks hold the wine and can be rolled out easily to view what you have available. For the money it seems well built. Very quiet! Highly recommend this beverage cooler especially for wine.

Update for 11/15/2024: This unit started to have trouble yesterday with a relay component going bad almost exactly 11 months after purchase. Because the part(s) are out of stock, they are completely honoring the warranty and sending us a new unit. Kudos to Wine Enthusiast who stand by their product! Original Review: Bought this for my wife who appreciates good wine. We’ve never owned something like this before, and for a Christmas gift, I did a lot of researching. Since opening her gift yesterday, it seems to be functioning quite well. The three wines I bought from the Italian winery we visited this past summer look great on the bottom. It does make a little noise when the compressor runs, but it truly is not bothersome to us at all. Like another reviewer posted, you will tend to not even notice it after a short amount of time has passed. The unit was packaged very well, and it stood upright after receiving it in our home for over a week. So turning it on after that amount of time had no issues involved. Just hoping for a good long time of use!
