I got this as a replacement for my lint filter that had some wires poking out. The new filter fit when it was new, but after I dried my first load of laundry, it melted and warped in a way that made it unusable. I was able to wrestle it out of the machine eventually, but it would not go back in. I sent it back and have just been using my old pokey one.

My GE dryer filter broke apart after 2 years of heavy use. This is a great replacement, very sturdy and stiff, but locks in place. GE dryer Model# GTD33EASKWW

The thing I love about this lint filter is besides saving 60+ bucks. Is that the plastic on it is durable and the screen is a metal mesh. The only thing my original lint filter is a little smaller which is 6" and the new one is 6" 1/4. So there's a wave on the screen now but I'm perfectly okay with that. It's doing what I brought it for to keep lint out of the blower. My model is GE DBVH520EJ4WW.

Fit perfectly and actually seems better built than the original one that came new with the dryer! Would order again in a heartbeat!

At first it didn't fit in the slot easily but after running two loads it now slides in easily and fits nicely.

It's a perfect fit and is exactly like the original factory part.

Did what it was supposed to do.
