I used to use this all the time, it's an excellent choice for Melatonin. Just started using it again. I've never had any after effects, and this does give a great night's sleep. My order, placed last night, arrived early this morning! I LOVE AMAZON! I've been a Prime Member for over 20 years and their low prices, free next day delivery (in many cases) is OUTSTANDING!! I've tried other brands, from time to time and Puritan's Pride is FAR superior to anything else I've tried. I just checked, over the years, I've ordered this 37 TIMES! I'd say that alone says a LOT!! haha I highly recommend this brand of Melatonin!

I’ve been using this Puritan’s Pride Melatonin 10mg for a while now, and it’s been solid. I take one about 30–45 minutes before bed, and I’m usually out not long after. What I Like: • The capsules kick in quick — not hours later • I don’t wake up groggy or foggy • 120 capsules means I’m not running out every month • No weird taste or side effects for me What I Don’t Like: • 10mg might be too strong for some people — if you’re new to melatonin, maybe start lower Bottom Line: It does exactly what I need it to do: helps me fall asleep and stay there. No complaints. I’ve used a few brands over the years, but this one’s been reliable and cost-effective. I’ll keep buying it.

I ordered these when my husband was working 12-14 hour over night shifts. It was hard for him to get useto his new schedule and hard for me to sleep alone at night. My dad had been taking just basic melatonin and said that it worked wonders so I found these online and figured we should give them a try. Now when we first started taking them they were amazing! worked quickly let you sleep throughout the whole night because I have an issue with tossing a turning but these made me sleep ALL NIGHT and best thing about them is they don't make you groggy in the morning. You wake up feeling refreshed! But after taking them for awhile I think our bodies got useto them because they didn't work as well. They still worked just not as fast and not as long. So, I took this the first night I got it at like 1am. I passed it in like 20 minutes… but at 5am, I woke up suddenly. So, I then learned that at least for me (19 yr old female) it’s better that I take smaller doses than 10mg. BUT it does work very well for days I stay up super late, crash for four hours, and then get up early. Or long plane rides, car rides, or anything like that.

This Melatonin 10mg works very well for me and is a very good price for the amount. I don't necessarily think it's "super strength" like it says, but maybe that's just because I've taken it too long and have developed a tolerance. I take several supplements and vitamins and have taken way too many over the past few years and done quite a bit of research into various brands. Puritan's Pride is one that I have read good things about in all areas including the purity of the ingredients and lack of heavy metals or other contaminants when tested by outside companies. It's been so long since I've read about it so I apologize I don't have sources handy, but it is relatively quick and easy to Google. I think it's super important to research not only what supplements you take but also what brands, since the industry is not monitored by the FDA. There are so many major, well-known brands that don't contain the amounts or active ingredients they say they do, or even scarier, contain dangerous contaminants like lead, and yet they're still sold everywhere. Anyway, sorry I am rambling. You can see why I might have trouble sleeping, haha. But I do recommend these, they work well and I never feel drowsy the next day from taking them, plus they're relatively small capsules and easy to swallow.

This stuff puts me to sleep pretty quick and I ended up waking up in the middle of the night feeling so refreshed it felt like it was at least 5am. I looked at my clock and it was barely midnight. I thought maybe it was just that one night but it happened again the next night and the following few nights. This puts me to sleep but it doesn't keep me asleep or help me fall back asleep after I've gotten up to use the restroom.
