We bought this to go in our bedroom and it works perfectly! It appeared easy to put together (as I watched my husband do it) so I can’t really say HOW easy it was but he had no complaints. You can choose the speed and color of the flames as well as the color of the stones. There are several color combos to choose from. The remote control works as expected, it heats our room nicely and really just looks perfect in our room. We have only had it about two weeks, but so far it is still working and we are pleased with the purchase.

I purchased this wall-mounted electric fireplace mainly because of its beautiful appearance and to use it as a decorative feature in my bedroom. I rarely used the fireplace and hardly ever operated the heat. Even with such limited use, the decorative flame and display stopped working after approximately 15 months. The fireplace cost $279, and I paid an additional $250 to have it professionally installed. I contacted the company, but because the one-year warranty had recently expired, they refused to provide a refund or replacement and offered only $40. A permanently installed product should not fail after 15 months, especially when it was barely used. I am extremely disappointed with the product’s quality and the company’s unwillingness to stand behind it. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this fireplace.

UPDATE Fall 2026: Still working and functioning as intended! Really enjoy that it has a heat function. As someone in an area with thunderstorms, I highly recommend ensuring it’s plugged into a surge arrest or similar protective equipment. We had a bunch of power outages / brownouts over the summer and anything helps to protect the investment. Original: This fireplace is really impressive and was fun to design and create a media / access wall. From an engineering perspective, wiring for the cord was designed in a suboptimal location on the side, making it hard to not damage when you frame a spot for it. Flame looks better than I expected and I upgraded the glass to a brown amber color made by another Amazon seller. So far, no issues!

La Chimenea llego antes y en perfecta condiciones, estaba muy escéptica ya que en CDMX no había encontrado un proveedor que pudiera venderme una chimenea como la de la publicación y me daba miedo que llegará rota o con algún defecto. Para mi sorpresa llego super bien protegida, funcionando al 100 y las medidas que vienen en las descripción del producto son las reales por si necesitas ir avanzando en tu proyecto mientras llega la chimenea. No dudes en comprarla no te arrepentirás.

I love this fireplace! It’s sleek, modern and my contractor commented on how easy it was to install. The vents were surprisingly powerful to push the heat and the flames change colour all with the touch of the remote. I saw much more expensive options at Home Depot so I’m glad I found this one!
