REMOVE THE PAPER BACKING PEOPLE !!!!! I had a tear in my pool liner, and after several attempts to repair it with various other products I came across this. The reviews had me a little skeptical. Some people claimed it didn’t work. Some people claimed it worked great. After quickly examining the product I realized most people failed to realize you need to remove the backing for it to stick to anything. This stuff was so sticky that a piece accidentally touched the pool liner and it took me a good 10 seconds to get it off. My repair was at the bottom of the pool so I drained the pool. I cleaned the liner. I also used an alcohol solution to remove any dirt grime or oils. It’s been about a week my water level is consistent, and I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a legitimate fix. My only gripe would be that it does not come in a clear color which would probably be a little less noticeable but compared to the price of a new liner, this will do.

I used this on my aboveground pool liner up above the waterline near the top edge where it hooks onto the frame. It is incredibly sticky and is adhering very well. I wish there had been a bit more instructions with it. There is a top clear layer over the tape that was unclear if it was meant to peel off. I did take it off in one spot, which was extremely difficult and then just left it alone in the other areas I used it on. It is wearing the same either way. I would heartily reccomend this tape! Can't speak to any underwater usage though.

Hardly sticks to the vinyl. May work above water but do not get this if you need to seal or repair anything underwater. It is useless and does not stick. Extremely weak. Get something else. Their customer service is as good as their product...Useless. They do not reply to messages and offer NO help at all. Do yourself a favor a buy something else.

Vinyl liner has lots of problems only in upper four inches, patches looked bad. This product went on easily and cheaply. Don’t know if it will hold up, but for now it’s looking great.

This sticks to EPDM, so far anyway. Time will tell.

Although the tape is “very good”, it does not stop leaks to a small tear in a vinyl swimming pool as I thought I read. Maybe I’m wrong but I thought it said it was good for repairing swimming pools. Water leaked within minutes.

Good adhesion and can be repositioned until fully set. Very weatherproof. I used it to repair a vinyl cold pack that needs to withstand some pressure and ice cold temperatures. So far its holding up well and remaining flexible too. Very strong and well made. It has a thick adhesive backing. I can imagine this being used in a variety of repairs requiring strong, flexible and weatherproof sealing.
