Solid Product, Well Worth It
Bought this for my 2005 Tacoma bed rail system. The mount is very sturdy and secured the bike well. Not only does it work great, but it looks great on the truck. Very solid product and worth every bit of the price. Im happy I found this one before buying a few other mounts that I was looking at. I would highly recommend if your truck has a bed rail system!

Broke after 2nd use.
Gave all one stars because of the failure. The product locks in a way similar to if not exactly like the front tire. This is easy enough if you know what you're looking at. Installation is also easy if you have the stock Toyota bedrails....it slides right into position. It's not all that sturdy though. The bedrail is really not meant for the twisting which occurs while your driving. I have mine in the rail which runs parallel to the cab of the truck. This would seem to to be the most logical way to mount since the bikes would then run the length of the bed (rear tire nearest to the tail gate). I tested the set up once putting my 27.5 inch Giant mountain bike in the bed of the truck and going for a quick drive around the block. It worked as I would have expected however the bike shook quite a bit because of the flex in the bed rail.Day of real use: My son and I loaded up for a ride yesterday. He has a Trek Marlin 6 which is considerably lighter than my Giant. We drove approximately 5 miles to a local trail and then back home.....so 10 miles round trip. Keep in mind this isn't some crazy off road rock crawling drive we made. It's smooth pavement the entire drive. When we made it home, the mounts rivets had popped and the locking shaft had rotated downwards between 45 and 90 degrees. This could have been a mess had the rivets on the bottom actually given way. The only reason they didn't was due to the force of the bike pushing down/rotating and bending the sheet steal the mount is made of.Great idea but it just can't handle the weight. A long drive with these is out of the question.Additional note - To compensate for the side to side shaking of the bikes, I didn't strap them together and then each bike to the sides of the truck. I thought it isolated them rather well but clearly not well enough. If I had NOT added these straps, I suspect the mounts would have failed on the ride out vs back and both mounts would have failed vs only one. This is speculation on my part but doesn't change the fact that the one mount failed on 2nd use (or day one depending on how you want to look at it).

Mixed review
So I bought this to go in my Nissan Titans uni track system. It does fit the system. It just does not fit the system that great. Even full tight the way it is designed and allows the lock to be able to move side to side. So when I have my bikes front forks locked into it the bike can still move side to side a little bit in the bed of the truck. It would be much nicer if it actually locks solid to the unitrack and did not move .That being said it does work fine it just needs improvement. It looks like good quality but long-term I don’t know.

Great idea that was poorly executed!
Like other reviews have said, the rivets are the weak point. After 3 or 4 trips now with my bicycles the mounts are sloppy and will soon fail. The rivets must be too soft. I'll have to drill them out and replace them with nuts and bolts. Otherwise the mounts are awsome. They allowed me to tuck both of my bicycles tightly up by the back window of my truck while hauling my Fifth wheel RV.

YES! something designed for my truck.
I was shocked when I saw this listed on Amazon. Then I got the package. I can not tell you how happy I was that this worked as well as I had hoped. A way to secure my bike that was designed for my Toyota truck...And as you can see there is enough clearance to use a cable lock for added deterrent.

Have to replace Rivets with bolts to make it worth buying
This fork mount is super flimsy. One drive of approximately 25 miles sheared off the rivets due to being flimsy and torque from wind and turning which causes your bike to lean. I've replaced with bolts i picked up from Lowes with that being said because it is plastic it still flexes some. I'm still using it on the regular though.

Fade to Green
At first I thought this thing allowed a little too much wobble on the bicycle fork, but I’ve decided that’s probably a good thing for my carbon fiber fork. Very easy to use and less than half the price of the factory version. Aluminum faded to a dark green after a few weeks in the sun, which actually matches the color of my Tundra.

Wonderful idea, very poor construction.
I should have used this sooner; fell apart after the first trip. This product is a wonderful idea, as it integrates into the Tacoma truck bed rail system seamlessly. If the construction was better, my review would have been very high. I fit this on my truck right away and it set up easily and seemed to work great. Unfortunately, the build quality is very poor and began to come apart after the very first trip (kids bikes/light weight road bike only). When I came back from this trip (only loaded with bikes for parts of three days) I found that both new mounts had the rivets, used to secure fork mount to rail mount, loose - one had come completely undone. Had this not been noticed when I did, this would have been two bikes coming off during my drive.Unfortunately, since I didn't use this right away, I missed the return deadline by one day.To improve this product, because it truly could be a wonderful product, bolts, instead of pressed rivets, should be used. Also, the underside of the mount that slides along the rail could be made of metal instead of plastic (like the OEM rail attachments) for a better fit, as the plastic allows too much movement when a bike is attached that will only increase with use. These changes would increase the cost, but would be absolutely worth the additional cost because this product would be a game-changer.
