A compelling read
This book blends history, witchcraft and personal experience to bring the subject matter to life. This book is a beautiful spell in itself. A must have book if you wish to know and work with Hekate.

An interesting read
I just finished reading this book so while the information is fresh in my mind I want to write this review. First off the book is filled with the writers personal experiences with Hekate, this was a nice touch and makes for a very personal read. There is an excellent section at the beginning of the book all about the history of Hekate and her origins. The writer did leave a few things out that I have discovered about Hekate while doing my own research but not much. She breaks down each chapter into working with Hekate’s different various roles and powers. She allows you a chance to contemplate why this goddess is consider to be a dark goddess and explains very well her various powers & what she rules over. I will note that the writer doesn’t mention enough about Hekate’s dominion over the land sea and sky but instead focuses a lot on her role as mistress of the dead, queen of the crossroads & how she became queen of the witches. Which is fine, but it leaves out some of her other important abilities. The spells in this book are basic at best and I would not even really call them spells, they are more like prayers to Hekate asking for her help in various matters. She does provide some incantations that could be used for spell work but the so called spells are not really spells at all. For this reason I have scored the book 4/5 because of the chosen focuses and missing information. Over all a good read. I will be keeping it and adding it to my collection of Hekate books. But I do believe there are slightly better books on Hekate that readers who want to work with her in a magical way could benefit from more.

❤️❤️❤️❤️
I have a large collection of books about Hecate, they are all filled with much knowledge and information, but this book by Courtney Weber is “THE CAT’s WHISKERS” in my opinion. Love this book ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Love this book, so informative and I love the author’s voice (very kind and supportive). The only thing I’ll say is that it shouldn’t have been published without an index. I literally started writing my own on one of the pages. It’s not easy to track down all the info on topics like herbs, which are discussed at different points across the different chapters. I totally understand why topics had to span across the chapters, and I'm used to reading books like this. But readers still need a way to efficiently locate all the info on a given topic for comprehension etc in a primarily educational text. That nerdy bit aside, it’s a beautifully written and deeply informative book!

This book is very well researched with many sources to go down the rabbit hole if you so choose. At the same time, it contains a lot of personal gnosis and wisdom accumulated over years of practice and a deep connection to the Goddess. I absolutely loved this book and followed some of the suggestions offered to build a personal relationship with Hekate. If you want to read one book on this beautiful, dark, mysterious and magickal Goddess, I suggest, you pick this one, as it has substance and depth and is not one of those modern fluffy superficial books people write just to hop on the trend bandwagon. Absolutely well deserved 5 stars!

the product arrived with no damages. I'm not done reading the book yet, but it's very good. it teaches legit informations about Hekate often with sources cited. it also talks about modern examples or anecdotes so that we can further connect and relate with the goddess, and theres many amazing rituals that can be as simple or as complicated as the practitioner wants. good for both beginners and advanced witches/worshippers. Hail Hekate🗝

It is a very nice book to learn about hekates history but unfortunately the spells are voodoo spells so not doable for me

Bom livro para iniciantes na Magia... Há outros com um arcabouço de conhecimentos mais consistente e aprofundado... Para quem busca um material mais "pesado", *The Temple of Hekate* ou *Hekate — Liminal Rites* são mais recomendáveis...
