Amazon Sword - Echinodorus Bleheri x3 Plants - Live Aquarium Plant

These plants arrived safely packaged and in great condition. The leaves were bright green and healthy, with well established roots. The price and quantities are great, and the size of the amazon swords were impressive. I ordered ONE Amazon sword for the same price from another retailer earlier this year and it was much smaller than what I received from this order. These look great in my aquarium, my son told me the other day that he thought my plants were fake, I guess because they were so vibrant and pretty! I ordered jungle Val’s, Amazon swords, and Java fern! I should also add that I didn’t get any hitchhikers either, i inspected for snails prior to adding to my tank and I did not find any. I will be ordering more in the future!

I am copy pasting this for each of the products I purchased from Macus Fish/Water plants. In all I purchased some Amazon sword, some Anubias, some Jungle Vallisneria and some hornwort. Everything arrived a week after it was shipped, and arrived online and seemingly healthy. I placed everything in my tanks and if you don't see an update to this you can assume everything is going well. The plants had great color and only mild discoloration and dead leaves primarily on the Jungle Vallisneria but it wasn't significant. As advertised I found my product was stuffed with extra plants, which was VERY appreciated. I think in all I got 3 extra anubias and my hornwort bag was stuffed to seems. I have purchased plants from quiet a few vendors on Amazon now for my aquariums, this was easily the best value and quality I have experienced. I would suggest using them. HOWEVER, if you are like me and stress over shipping living things. I would encourage paying for any shipping methods that doesn't utilize USPS. That was unfortunately the worst part of this experience, my delivery took way longer than deliveries from UPS, FedEx or Amazon. You get almost nothing for tracking data and if your local driver is like mine you have to wait for them to finish their daily hour long cell phone session outside your mail boxes before they drop off the actual mail....

!!BEAUTIFUL PLANTS!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The plants themselves: I was extremely nervous about the quality of these Amazon swords (I had never ordered aquarium plants online before this). I ordered 2 of these (=6 individual plants) out of fear that I would not get healthy plants. BOY was I wrong!! The Swords that I received were beautiful!! I nearly shed a tear🥹🥲. BRIGHT GREEN leaves, THICK stems, HEALTHY ROOT and CROWNS! And to my delight- a few of the Swords were putting off new stems!!! (They now have babies coming off them!!)! These Swords also came with 0, yes, ZERO duckweed! They also settled in very well for me and showed no signs of shock or melt in either of my two tanks I split them up in. The packaging: The Amazon Swords were packaged pretty decent. Three swords in 1 plastic bag with just enough moisture to keep them from drying out but also keep the box from becoming a soggy mess. I found that the box itself was a perfect size for my 2 (=6 individual plants) and allowed them to fit snugly/not fly around while in transit. I found that there was no heating or cooling pack, HOWEVER, my plants were in perfect condition. So, this didn’t seem to be a big deal for mine! Shipping: I’m from the Midwest. I got these Amazon Swords in December. 🫣you might see where this is going… By the time I was notified that my package was delivered to my post office, they were already closed for the day. I thought to myself, “no worries! I’ll just pick them up first thing tomorrow!”. Wrong 😭 the post office was closed for the whole weekend and I was given no option but to wait 3 days to pick up my Swords. I panicked, thinking about my poor plants all weekend, surely they would be dead by the time I can pick up my package right? Wrong again! I severely underestimated Marcus Fish Tanks. These aquatic plants sat in a cold, dark, post office for 3 DAYS (+however long it was on a truck) and were still bright green and didn’t have a single melt spot or any sign of stress. They also didn’t have any smell to them! Overall: If you are looking to buy quality Amazon Swords for a reasonable price I implore you to buy from Marcus Fish Tanks! Update: 2nd order didn’t include an extra. These still arrived nice. Almost dry, being that I order these in July. But they made it alright. Will update how my second batch holds up. Original post: I have given these a month, to watch what they do, before reviewing. They arrived healthy and substantial, with just enough moisture in the bag. They smelled good and appeared clean and parasite free. A month later, these are thriving, producing more roots and green. My bettas love them. They give our snails and shrimp places to hide and rest. Our dojo loach sleeps in them regularly. They have been a great addition to our tanks! Also, the seller sent me an extra!! With how happy I am, I will be a loyal Marcus Fish Tanks shopper. Thanks!

I ordered these plants in February, which was silly of me to do in Michigan! The plants originally arrived frozen (as it was -12°f) and I tried to revive them, but failed. I messaged the seller, and he was willing to wait for warmer weather to ship me a new bunch! So I messaged him 4 months later, and 2 days later I had my plants! They are now thriving in my classroom fish tank!! Thank you so much Marcus! They are beautiful, healthy, soft plants, easy to pop into the base later and already are taking root + growing!

Make sure to wash your roots and leaves throughout, because mine were extremely healthy and good, but there was some flat brown worm that came with it. Great health, and big plants too. Definitely a good company to buy from.

first time buying was great. i received 3 plants like stated and even an extra. they were healthy. this time, i only received 2 plants. i’m not too upset since these were healthy with well established roots, but it was a little disappointing. otherwise, these plants are great and i’ll definitely be ordering again. hopefully with the correct amount of plants this time!

I’m very happy with these plants! I bought them a while ago, and since I added them to my aquarium they have grown a lot and look even more beautiful. They arrived healthy, adapted well, and have been thriving ever since. They make my aquarium look much more natural and vibrant. I would definitely buy them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for healthy live aquarium plants.
