WORKER 18-Darts Curved Talon Magazine Short Darts Clip for Nerf Modulus Series Toy and Nexus Pro (Black Transparent)

We purchased this to have extra mags for a Dart Zone MK-4. Build quality is good, though it fits a bit more snugly compared to the blaster’s original mags. Not enough to be concerned about damaging it, but enough to have to yank harder to pull the mag out. We also use it on the Dart Zone MK-3, and that has no fit problems whatsoever - the mag slides out when you engage the mag release. Overall great purchase, and will buy again if I need additional mags.

This works really well in blasters that take short darts. However, depending on the blaster you may have trouble with the angle shape. I have used it for most of the dart zone blaster such as the mk-3, Omnia pro, mk 1.2, and various adventure force blasters and this magazine works perfectly with them. Furthermore it also feeds the darts to the blasters with no issues whatsoever. However, it did not work with blasters such as the dart zone dictator due to the semi-internal magazine style it had.

Feeds well, no jams with worker half length dart. More sturdy than stock mag. Fits perfect w/ Nexus Pro.

It fits

This is only in reference to the Zuru X Shot long shot v2.0 with the half dart mag well adapter and “Worker” half dart magazines. The “Worker” full dart size magazines DO NOT have this issue. I was watching my son playing with his new Zuru X shot long shot with the brand new worker half dart magazines and couldn’t help but notice his frustration with the magazine falling out of the soft dart rifle when he was running around with his buddies. At first I thought he was bumping the release lever and told him to stop jacking around with it. Then I watched him more carefully and noticed that it was indeed falling out on its own. Surely he was not engaging the magazine deep enough to engage the catch? First off my son’s name isn’t Shirley and secondly I confirmed he was indeed seating the magazine like he should. I took it and tried all of the 4 new “Worker” magazines I had bought and sure enough it took very little “pull” to get them to dislodge from the Zuru x shot half dart magazine well adapter. Being somebody who enjoy tinkering with things I got to work and did the only thing a reasonable person could do. I got out my dial calipers and took the Zuru mag well half dart adapter and removed the 4 small fasteners to expose the catch/release mechanism for the mag adapter (note picture). Then I inspected the new “Worker” magazine. I found that the edge at the very top of the magazine detent that engages with the catch on the Zuru x shot long shot adapter was “rounded” from the manufacture and not a crisp 90 degree edge that would be optimal for retaining the magazine. I had a straight edge hobby razor on my work bench and used it to get a nice crisp edge on the magazine. I put it in the X shot mag well adapter and it was just as good as the original Zuru x shot magazine. No more problems! I did however get carried away and being a huge fan of redundancy I went about utilizing BOTH catch mechanisms by creating two detent grooves on the magazines. I didn’t feel like setting up my bed lathe so I used my dremel cut off wheel and finished it with that straight hobby razor blade to get a very crisp 90 degree edge. Not the prettiest work but it worked like gang busters. I’m not too worried about the release mechanism getting worn out and the magazine falling out with two detents and both catches engaged. For those that can’t leave well enough alone, you might find this entertaining. Happy hunting!

Slight modification was needed for the magazine to lock in place. Works well with no issues other than the necessary modification.

this thing a work of art its smooth to load up has high capacity and best of all its compatible with almost anything you can slap an adapter on or with a stock mag well. it also doesn't feel like its extra bulky for no reason and isn't unreasonably sized like the magazines that come with those fake woozies. not only that but the price point is really reasonable for the product! would definitely recommend and spend life savings on.
