Just not worth it
I’ve owned and used all kinds of different branded tools from snap-on, Milwaukee, craftsman, Klein old school and new school and so on. This set just isn’t worth $1200 and if I’m being honest harbor freights sockets are very similar and durability is also pretty close. I don’t like harbor freight but I tried them 6 months ago and they held up better than these. $400-600 would have be reasonable for this set. And yes they are nice I mean come on there snap on BUT they aren’t $1200 nice

Great Snap-on ratchet length, gear ratio and sockets, but terrible blow molded case design loses three stars.
The sockets and ratchet are great but the case is absolutely dismal. The slightest jarring and all the sockets jump out of place. As a licensed mechanic I can't honestly recall the insane number of times I've had to scramble over floors and under engine hoods to retrieve a full set of fallen sockets.Time is money. Shame on Snap-on Tools for such a thoughtless design for which they expect a whopping $600. I just bought a Tekton 13001 equivalent just for its better designed case complete with same sockets and ratchet for $58.

Tough ratchet/socket set that will last for years!
I've had this exact set for 12 years. It's my go-to set as many of the fasteners on cars will come loose just fine with 1/4" drive. Never an issue and the chrome finish is still nice on everything. One time, I had to get the axle bearing retainer plate bolts loose on a GM 9-bolt axle in a junk yard and all I had was this set with me. The bolts were tight enough that I had to use my foot to push the ratchet and get the bolts loose, ratchet and socket didn't even flinch (socket and all ratchet teeth are still in great condition). I recommend also buying the snap on "comfort handle" 1/4" ratchet that's a bit longer as sometimes extra leverage helps when a 3/8" would be too big.
