Unfortunately my first order of these came with the standard pen and not the advertised resin pen. Returned and reordered and although the pen was correct this time, on both prints, it was clearly visible what the "mystery" print was (they were duplicates), so took the joy from it.That said, I always find Cateared diamond paintings great value for money, their resin pens are quality, the enclosed macaroon wax holder are fantastic, especially for on the go travel kits. The canvases are soft and the prints are true to size.This wasn't my first purchase from this company and happy to say that it won't be my last :)

This DP is beautifully packaged in a box to protect the canvas. It comes with a lovely DP pen, macaroon shaped container with wax, beads and a tray. The canvas is good quality and the symbols are clear black on white.If you look carefully you may be able to work out the theme of the picture but not always. I haven’t completed mine so far but very pleased with this purchase. I have recommended the company to family and I have now bought more than one for myself.

Interesting product. This “diamond painting set comprises of a pre-printed coded canvas which is topped with a very sticky adhesive, all the square flat back coloured gems you need, a fancy picking tool with a small amount of waxy paste which helps to pick the gems up for placement and a small plastic tray. The waxy paste is in a macaron shaped container, looking a bit like a lip balm. The picking tool is double ended, you can either pick up gems one or three at a time.The end image is a mystery of which i will give nothing away, like most of these kits the image is a blurry pixelated one but the effect is pretty. It measures approximately 30x40cm, you probably wouldn’t want it any bigger because it deceptively does take a long time to complete. It is very fiddly and takes a little bit of time to get used to but worked on and off, this took me a few weeks to complete plus the added complication of it not being colour coded you really do need a sharp eye to identify the corresponding gems with codes. The gems are square shaped which is a bit different, they are faceted which gives that shimmering look when finished. There are more than enough gems to complete the image and it was all really easy to use.£16.99 (at the time of writing this review) is ok value for what you get and how it passes the time by, i have made other sets which were cheaper and i liked the image better. Even though the end product is not for me I did enjoy the challenge and completing it, it was so therapeutic and addictive. Would make a nice gift to give someone something to do to pass the time by, there is the added fun element of not knowing what the picture will be until finished.

I ordered the 30x40 kit and loved it! I do lots of diamond paintings and this is one of the best quality kits I have bought. Great canvas, drills all good shape with minimal gapping, and nice clear symbols. The pen was also lovely to use. Really happy and will definitely be ordering from Cateared again!

The quality of the product is great. The first 2 pictures I ordered were great quality. However the latest picture I have ordered has round drills instead of square which I ordered and there is no glue with it. This won't stop me doing the picture, however still annoying as I prefer the square drills.

This dp kit was excellent quality and rolled and packaged in is own box very well so there are no creases in it.

I just started working on mine. I love that I can't tell what it is, true mystery. The pen it came with super cute and feels good in my hand. The wax container is so cute. I ended up getting the 30x40cm. I am very pleased with the quality. Thank you!

This diamond painting was very high quality as it goes for diamond paintings. The picture was so clear and realistic. The diamonds are so sparkly. Very little amount of diamonds were miss shaped. The macaron is adorable but the wax is not the greatest and doesn’t last long. The pen was very comfortable. Canvas was excellent quality. Very happy with this purchase!!!! Can’t wait to do another one

das set ist richtig super es kommt sehr gut verpackt nach hause und es ist sehr spannend wenn man erst zum schluss sieht was es für ein bild ist.die Steine sind auch sehr gut und vorrallem das wachs in der dose klasse würde ich immer wieder kaufen
