I recently purchased these lights for my wife’s car. The installation process was fairly easy and so were the instructions. Once they were installed the colors were very vibrant and noticeable. They’re definitely a good way to enhance your car. The wire was good quality and worth the price. One section on my wife’s car accidentally fell off and after reconnecting it, the section would no longer turn on. I sent a message to customer service and not only did they reply fast but they also solved my issue!

I’ve been using OPT7 for almost 7-8 years now and have bought multiple kits for me and my family. These underglows are water tight and work flawlessly. To mount them correctly will take a little extra time if you are doing it by yourself but are well worth it and still comes out to be a pretty easy install. I get compliments on them all the time. Most of all, their customer support is A1 and got back to me same day. If you need lighting, go OPT7.

I've had these on my car for over a year now and, for the price, couldn't be happier. Sure, I'd love more features like 'infinite' colors, sound activated patterns, or even just more pre-mapped patterns. Again, for the price, can't complain. Install could have been really easy if I didn't care as much, but I wanted this to look as good as possible so I took my time and ran all the wires as neatly as I could. My car made it more challenging as well, with dual exhaust tips, there isn't a great way to mount the rear strip. I got creative with a strip of aluminum 1/2" C-channel. As for brightness, again, for the price, I can't complain. I'd LOVE to have lights I can see in broad daylight like I've seen on some drift cars. Those are probably fully custom and/or several hundred dollar lights. I'm very happy with the diffusion of the light. The strips are weather protected with a clear rubber material. I thought this would make the individual LEDs show on the ground. I think the LEDs are dense enough on the strips that this doesn't happen. If you're on a budget, I definitely recommend these, if you want more features OPT7 makes a nicer kit for a bit more $$.

Is a great product although I suggest sticking with a small drill bit and a whole lotta zip ties for this.

These lights are great. Honestly I couldn’t be any happier with the quality of the strips. Super bright and at night they turn heads. The only down side is. I bough these for a birthday present to my self in February and I live in Colorado so you could imagine it snows a little here. It is now April and it is starting to warm up so I installed them Saturday. I installed the sides first and worked my way to the rear of the car. When I took out the rear led strip from the wheel it comes shipped in I noticed it was damaged. I Not sure if it’s something that falls under warranty or not. Either way the front and the sides look great.

Flexible is TER-rible! No matter what, the lights will sag. Causing the soldering to crack closest to the mounts. Therefore you'll be driving around, looking like a fool, with mismatched colors. If you don't know how to solder, do not buy these lights. Actually, don't buy them even if you do know how. Fixing them has been a nightmare. If you truly want your vehicle to look "cool." Don't be a fool and buy the bar version. Spend a little bit more money. It'll be worth it Oh, and the remote is practically useless because it NEVER works!! Even though I just installed the lights, I'm going to purchase a new battery to see if that helps. If not, looks like I'll be forced to purchase a different brand. The colors are fun but I feel there's even better options out there. RGBIC for instance.
