I love a good milk tea, but buying the pre-made cans is really expensive. I try making my own at home, but it just takes up too much time when I’m busy. This stuff tastes very similar to the cans of royal milk tea you can get at the store, and is super easy. Add hot water to 3 teaspoons of powder and bam- a delicious drink. It’s easy to make it iced as well. You just literally pour it over ice. And since the water isn’t boiling, you don’t have to worry about it getting too watery.

I’m so happy to Amazon have this tea because the first time I had it was from a friend that went to Japan and this tea is really great when you drink it at night don’t put any sugar just one spoon or three drops of honey and it taste so delicious

The flavor is pleasant and okay. Not too sweet. I can enjoy a nice up of hot milk tea on a cold winter night. When I first bought it, it was priced at $9.99 for 280 gm. Three weeks later I was looking into re-ordering this as I have enjoyed it, I saw the price had shot up to $15?? It makes me have second thoughts about buying this. :-( I may look for an alternative.

Wow, I love this stuff. I had been drinking sundays 3in1 mix packet (good but really sweet, needs 10 oz of water) and royal Myanmar 3in1 mix packet (a bit bitter, needs 8 oz of water) and this is by far the best. I dont think any are a good value per se but it's on par price wise with using a Keurig k cup. I usually make an 8 or 10 oz cup of hot water in the keurig and put a heaping spoonful of this. I would say this is my fav, right amount of sweetness and its black tea. I think the other brands I mentioned are green tea. I highly recommend trying this. I do wish it was a little cheaper. You might check your local asian markets, I believe I've seen it there too.

This is my favorite brand of milk tea as it comes closest to the milk tea I used to have as a kid. You know, the kind you get in H.K. style cafes in San Francisco, made with black assam tea leaves and the Longevity Brand sweetened condensed milk, the ones with the white label of an old man wearing a flowing yellow robe. This brings back memories, especially these days when the taste of milk tea has changed over the teas, such as in the Silicon Valley, where every body goes boba crazy. I can do without that chewy stuff when it comes to a classic drink like this milk tea. Plus this brand is Japanese, which means it is likely much safer than the stuff you get from China.

This item was supposed to be 280g size but I received 250g instead so that is misleading and disappointing. The taste is good but is a bit too "floral" for my liking.

I buy this tea in the bulk packs instead of the tubes. I like it because it's more economical this way, and also that I can add more or less depending on how sweet I want it to be. I love the strong black tea flavor. I put 2 slightly rounded teaspoons ( the ordinary ones from your silverware set, not measuring spoons) to my 13 oz coffee mug and this is just right for my taste buds. I wish it came in a bigger bag, because this is now my go to for the morning, afternoon and evening. It works out as being much less expensive than getting drive through coffees. I store it in a 12 ounce tightvac container and it's perfect for that.
