My fireplace screen is absolutely beautiful and a perfect fit! I didn't want a screen that was big a bulky. This screen is perfect and a very refreshing look!

This fireplace screen hit the mark. It is sturdy, looks much more expensive than it is, and fit our space perfectly. It was the quickest, cheapest way to update a fireplace that needed a boost until we redo the tile and mantel...but even then I think I’ll be keeping it! If you buy this, MAKE SURE that you face it with the metal chevrons FACING OUT toward you, not to the back. The flat screen part should be in back. I saw reviews saying that it looked like the paint had run or that spots had been missed, but the pics included showed they didn’t have the correct side facing them! It is definitely spray painted metal, but it doesn’t look like it and if you face it the right way it is gorgeous. This looks like the screens I was looking at that were priced over $200. And like I said, even if we update everything about this fireplace, I’ll still be using this exact screen.

Pretty decent quality , metal is a little flimsy but I think it will work since it just needs to prevent sparks . Style, shipping and price great.

This Fireplace screen exceeded my expectations! I read most all of the reviews and it was very apparent from the reviews as well as the product listing that the item was a brushed distressed gold which was OK by me. I like the look because it doesn’t look too in your face gold. I already have several gold items in my living room and didn’t want it to be overwhelming. Which it is not. I was very pleased with how great it looked up against my lighter colored fireplace. It really pulls the whole space together. I have not used it while burning a fire yet but I believe it will do just fine as it covers the whole opening of my fireplace. It was super easy to put together and sits perfectly on my break with no wobbling. I also ordered the matching fireplace tool set from this company and the two items matched perfectly and make everything look more expensive than it was. One of my friends even thought the fireplace screen was from West Elm! I would order again!

We got this type of fireplace guard because it can sit nearly flush to our chimney. We recently moved to a house with 2 fireplaces, and our kittens have tried to pull a reverse Santa and climb the chimney. We blocked it off temporarily with moving boxes, but needed a more permanent solution. Most guards or shields are the tri-fold type, and we're pretty sure our aspiring chimney sweeps would make short work of getting around those. This one is exactly what we need. Assembly is just screwing in 4 bolts to attach the feet, and it's ready to go. It sits nearly flush in front of our chimney opening, and it's too heavy for the furballs to moves. Looks were a secondary concern, but as a bonus, it looks classy and blends well with our decor. 5 stars!

The product isn’t a bright gold like how it is in the picture. There is some black you can see making it look more aged. If it were bright gold I think it would look cheap. I love how the legs fit inside my fireplace so it sits flesh against the brick. It’s sturdy enough that you can move it open and closed by one corner and it stays upright. The only slight concern is an ember did pop out from under it. I’m not sure if that is going to be a consistent problem since I only have had one fire.

The first thing I did when I came across this screen was do what any smart shopper would do-read the reviews. I went ahead and ordered this screen with a clear understanding that the gold coloring would be distressed, matte and not overly bright. I was okay with that. But what I got is far more orange/ bronze that what the reviews, or my photos, will lead you to believe. It is absolutely more orange than gold. There is also a ton of distressing. So much so that it looks like the screen has spent lots of time shielding a roaring fire. There are swaths of black on the mesh that make it look tinged or smoked with wear. If you’re looking for a rustic look, this is totally the screen for you. If you’re looking for something more MCM or modern, you’ll likely need to repaint it. At least with the gold option. Black may be great. Considering the disparity between the photos and what you’ll receive, I believe this screen is overpriced. If I saw this at Home Goods or AtHome, I wouldn’t pay a cent over $40. I gambled and lost, but I’ll try to repaint it and save it because the box it came in was covered in mold on one side. You couldn’t pay me enough to touch it again. P.S. it also came with a dent in the foot thanks to lack of protective packaging.
