Will this fit in a suitcase for traveling?

Dear Paige, due to the size of each suitcase is different, it might be fit in a big suitcase. However, we can offer you the folded size of this utility cart is 15.7*20*3.3in.

Can you stand or sit on lid? How much weight can be put on the lid

Hello, the lid of this utility cart can bear the weight of 50kg/110 pounds; If you do not exceed 50kg, you can sit or stand on it

Can you order the parts separate? Like the lid. I can't find it?

You can pull it up so that it's tall

Does this cart have a thick plastic base that is sturdy and will not crack/break if being using to transport 50 lbs of free weights?

I think the base is sturdy enough, however I'm not sure how it would affect the small wheels. It might bog them down quite a bit. If you're going over a bumpy surface and the weights bounce around that could pose a problem.
