Nice add-on
Installed and had it up and running in less than 2 hrs. The built-in wireless carplay worked seamlessly. Just a heads-up...when installing, you have to alternate the 2 mounting brackets on the XTRON unit with the archs still facing each other otherwise you will not be able to mount the XTRON unit to your dash...I did it under 5 mins. Otherwise a solid unit!!

Doesn't work as promised
The phone's bluetooth crackles and I can not play bluetooth music. I cant see my idrive info.

This is NOT compatible with a 2009 x5 as stated
The touch screen looks amazing. So much so that a friend with the exact same car purchased the same system. Unfortunately, neither of our BMW certified techs could get Xtrons to connect to the BMW platform as advertised.

Easy install
Have had this unit for just over a year and i love it. Install was easy if you know what your doing and watch the youtube videos for this unit. Works wonderfully in my 08 BMW X5.
