Clear bottle becomes opaque !
Gradually the clear bottles have become opaque which looks as if they have not been washed . Also , over a few months , they have started smelling a little . Durability is there, quality is poor as color fades . Material is plastic, light weight, poor value for money .

A nice, elegant bottle
This is a nice bottle for storing water: inside the fridge as well as outside. The clear-, transparent-colored bottle looks especially nice. I have owned similar bottles previously and they lasted me about 3-4 years. (One's lid cracked upon an accidental drop, others started looking really worn after daily use.) My order was placed on a Saturday and the package reached me Monday morning, in a Tier-2 city. So that was fast shipping speed. My gripe is with the packaging. The bottle was sent in a mailer/courier paper bag with no padding: and the shape of the item was obvious. It reached me totally intact, but it could have easily gotten damaged during shipping. Amazon seems to be saving on packaging lately. Items are labeled and shipped in their original-, factory-packaging, with no outer covering. That's not good practice and as a consumer I find it really annoying. Again: The bottle had no original-, factory packaging. It was just in that not-easy-to-tear paper bag with no padding.
