Well made product. It doesn’t get hot during use and is very quiet in use as in no horrid humming.

This product works well, however it's fitting is not always as simple as other reviews on here may say. On the reverse side of the unit there is a raised 'lip' around the perimeter, it's imperative that this lip fits within the previously cut-out aperture in your bathroom, to enable a flush fit against the wall. In my case had to remove around 5mm of granite tile from the bottom edge, normal cutters and stones will not do the job, had to purchase a small diamond wheel cutter, so more time and money to carry out this 'simple' bathroom upgrade.

Like a lot of people, we thought we could plug our two prong plug toothbrush charger into the shaver socket in the bathroom and just leave it there. Well apparently you can't. Shaver sockets aren't designed like that and if you leave them under constant load, they eventually fail. Since we don't have an electric shaver, we took out the shaver socket and fitted this. It sit's nicely in the original back box and our toothbrush just sits on top. Take off the brush, use it and put it back. It looks nice, there are no wires anywhere and importantly it has worked flawlessly for nearly two years.

Easier than fitting a plug! Just replaces the standard shaver socket. Much cleaner solution. Check photos of before and after. The neutral, live and earth wires just clip in the unit. No need for a screwdriver etc. Super happy with the product.

This is a brilliant product! It's such a good idea. When you're using it to replace a traditional shaver point, the wiring switchover is so simple. Do remember to switch off the mains power first!

Had this wired in by my electrician, up for 2 weeks and stopped working. My electrician came out to check it and it was definitely a faulty item. I contacted the seller who then told me how to contact the company direct, which I’ve done. They are in process of sending me a replacement asap. Otherwise the appearance is clean and tidy, price not too bad but the quality on this one was poor. Hoping the next one will be better.
