My dog likes to swim in pond will there be any issues with his fur getting dyed once the product is in the water?

I wouldn't think it would be an issue. I have gotten the direct solution on my skin & it does wash off (with some effort) and once diluted in the pond it doesn't stain the skin.

Do you have to have a license to handle these chemicals or are they for anyone to use

Pond Dye is not considered a chemical treatment. There are no shipping restrictions for this product to any state in the U.S. There should be no restrictions for applying the Pond Dye to a private body of water. If the pond is owned by a municipality or association there may be other rules that apply.

I just put way too much in my small pond (dropped it accidentally...) about 1/2 packet. Will it hurt my fish if the contraction is much higher?

It should not hurt them at all. I have put double the amount I our pond to make it a deeper blue with no issues to the fish.

What is in this product & how to I balance the extreme blue color. The bream are all dying.

The dye will not kill fish when used as directed. But each packet covers a huge area, I throw only 2 or 3 packets in a large 1 acre pond. If your fish are dying this time of year, you probably need aeration.
