How are you supposed to dissolve the colour?

Add your chosen colour into your melted wax and stir until dissolved. I found these need quite a high temperature to dissolve so I melted them in a smaller amount of wax until completely dissolved.

Why does my dye not dissolve? My package didn’t come with instructions

Apparently you melt half your wax, add the wax dye and once melted add the remaining wax. They state the dye melts at 90°C but they still don't all fully melt. I don't know what they're made from but they're not like your usual wax dyes. My other wax dyes melt straight away at 60-70°C
