I adopted my late neighbor's FAT 22lb brown and black tabby cat, Hudson. When I picked him up from RACC, they sent him away with me in an unwieldy hardshell carrier of a kind you might tote a Saint Bernard puppy. His shelter name was Big Back (we don't talk about that). I've since moved from our studio apartment that was too small for even either of us alone and bought this carrier before we left. It's nearly as spacious as the crate, totally ergonomic, comfortably lined with a sturdy shoulder strap (necessary). Easy to assemble and pack away flat. Cozy and contained so much so that my sweet boy hardly made a peep from the front seat of my Honda Accord during the admittedly short drive. I love it. Hudson loves it. If this is the size you need, buy it! Two Hudsons could fit inside this carrier if I was only so lucky but he's one of a kind.

The media could not be loaded. The absolute best carriers that I’ve ever purchased. We needed something large and roomy enough for our move so that our three big boys would be safe and comfortable during the car ride and these were better than I could have hoped. They were sturdy and very easy to assemble and the perfect size with a convenient design. They even have pockets! And easy to carry with the shoulder strap or handles. We have three cats from 14lbs to a Maine Coon at 23lbs and they all had plenty of room to be comfy and safe. Speaking of safe, our boys tried their best to escape the whole way but these carriers were more than up to the challenge. They were perfect. So much so that the boys still love using them as their little nap spot around the house. But if you want to store them away they’re easy to break down and store. If you’re looking for a sturdy safe carrier then this is THE ONE. We’re all so so so happy with them.

If I were a cat, this is the way I would want to travel. This is a comfortable, stylish, breathable and spacious pet carrier. The shoulder strap helps me carry our cat, though my husband can carry it by the handles. Highly rated and durable, this carrier scored higher when compared to other, less expensive soft-sided carriers. I did my research on this one! You want a studier cloth carrier so that the little ones can't escape. Very important! I'm very happy with the purple one, and know I could fit both of our 5 year old cats, if we needed to transport them together. There are options to keep the sides open or lower the flaps to give your cat more privacy and keep them calm. A little tricky snapping the side tension bars into place, but once done, you can tell just how sturdy this carrier is!

This is large! Easy to assemble and my large black male cat has room to roam inside. Zippers work great and it is super secure and sturdy. It’s still quite easy for me to tote around and worth it for the comfort of my kitties. Value is amazing and I genuinely think everyone needs this for there pet small dog or cat!

Love this bag. It's huge and very sturdy. Brought my 2 cats to the vet today. 12 pounds and 19 pounds. They fit comfortably. Only drawback for me is I'm 5 feet tall so the bag is literally half my size! I needed to use the shoulder strap instead of the hand straps to carry them and the rings buckled under their combined weight. I think I need wheels on it for me to get them between house, car, vet office more easily. But I'm sure my son who is 6 feet can carry it with ease by the hand straps. Still a great bag. Just keep that part in mind if you're vertically challenged like me.

I have 2 cats, Finn & Jake. Both are on the small side but Finn is very, very long. I've had a hardshell carrier & a soft carrier for years that worked well with some of my late pets. In theory they'd be fine with these two but not in practice. Finn is too long for the soft carrier & really freaks out in the hard one. Jake freaks out in the soft case.I wanted 2 things in a new carrier: a soft case big enough for Finn & one that I could fold up & put away. I have a super tiny apartment so every inch counts.Finding anything like that proved to be harder than I thought. This case is HUGE. I can easily get both cats in it, with room to spare so it is entirely overkill. However, many years ago I had a cat that was over 4' long when he stretched out & weighed 20lbs w/o actually being fat. This would have been perfect for him!I haven't taken the cats out in it yet. I had intended to return it given it's size, but the moment I set it up, they had to be in it. It's so covered in hair I didn't think I could return it. The plus side is that i can easily use it for both cats simultaneously. Since I always take them to the vet together, this may be an advantage. Getting both of them back into it at the vet may prove to be a challenge so I'll bring my other carriers just in case.I do have to schedule a vet visit soon so I'll update the review when I do. I have some concerns about the mesh holding up to their claws. It has withstood all their play sessions in it so far, which is a good sign, but stressed cats are another thing. Finn hates being confined, he loves the car. Jake completely freaked out on the way home from the shelter. Badly enough that I was surprised he didn't destroy the soft bag he was in. We'll see how they do in this one. Given that it's open on all sides & large enough for them to move around in, it may reduce both their stress levels.I've picked it up with them in it & they didn't seem to sink or anything. The bottom has a removable pad for extra cushion. The cats enjoy sleeping on it.I love that they built in latches to make sure the zippers stay closed, especially since Finn is a genius-level escape artist. It's also nice that the zippered areas can be rolled up & held in place with velcro straps. Given that this has become their playhouse, it's a handy feature.I do wish they added in non-mesh covers to go over the top of the mesh covers so I can control what they see. The mesh is great for the car ride, but I have concerns about the case being so open at the vets office. I'll definitely bring a towel to provide some cover.If I had a small dog, I could see using this as crate / bed & carrier. The bottom seems pretty sturdy and there is a soft pad for the bottom of it.

This is great to transport my cats to the vet and they can be together without squishing each other. It is large so it's bulky but they love it

Our little puppy loves this crate, and sleeps in it at night. Good for transport as well, and it goes easily into a car (and has set belt guides).

We bought this for our incredibly anxious 17lb long-haired male cat. He needs regular sanitary shaves, and getting him to the vet and/or groomer was a nightmare which resulted in many last-minute cancellations for about 7 months. During this time, we tried a half dozen other carriers of various styles and sizes and our poor anxious boy would pretty much panic every time we tried to put him in it, hissing, fighting, biting, peeing and scratching the entire time.Finally, we found this carrier and decided to try it based on the size. When it came in, we were very impressed at the construction and build. It was quick and easy to assemble and once put together is incredibly sturdy. We left it out in our living room with all three doors open for our four cats to get used to it. It was only a week or two before our anxious big man was lying inside just enjoying having a box he could sit in and quickly escape from through any of the three openings (top, bottom, and left side). Additionally, our two young kittens regularly use it as a jungle gym and playpen, jumping in, on and running through it while playing chase and it's shown no signs of wear in the past 6 months. The 8-lb kittens also like to curl up inside it together, and still have plenty of room with both of them in it.Since then, we've gotten the big boy to the vet and groomer twice with success. The vets, groomers and vet techs comment each time they see it on how large, comfortable and sturdy it is compared to most carriers they see regularly. Thanks to the three separate openings, our vet was able to do his entire annual exam, with the small exception of weighing him, while he sat in the carrier feeling safe and secure. It's been such a tremendous help in getting our boy proper vet and grooming care and I would highly recommend this carrier to anyone with a big, beefy cat, especially if they get anxious about travelling.He's still not crazy about travelling, but this carrier gives him enough room to comfortably lay down, stand up, and turn around while also allowing him to see out all sides and feel safe. We were worried that after the first vet trip, he'd develop some sort of negative association with it, but both times that he's gotten home from a trip, he's voluntarily gone back inside within an hour because he still seems to consider it a safe space. It was only $115 CAD when we originally bought it, and I feel like it was an absolute steal at that price. If I ever see it drop below $150 again, I'll likely scoop up a second because I suspect it will outlast all of our current cats.

Perfect for larger cats such as Maine Coon

Although I’ve not had to use this carrier yet it appears to be exactly the right size for an adult Maine Coon.My cat has sat in it without being spooked and has plenty of room. I’ve tried other carriers and this one is the best I have had for these large cats.
