Some say yes some no. 8 have a 455 rancher with 20 inch bar. Will this chain fit.

It should fit. I have a 450 with a 20" bar and it fits perfectly. The only difference between the 450 and the 455 is that the 455 has a slightly higher torque engine and a smaller fuel tank. Also the cosmetics of each plus one has snap-clamps vs. phillips screws make them a little different but as far as the mechanics are concerned they can both use this chain.
