Genuine Toyota Throttle Body Gasket for Fuel Injection System

Had to replace the intake manifold gasket on a 2007 Corolla S (because of its poor sealing properties in cold weather in aging Corollas) with an updated and improved intake manifold gasket so I decided to replace this gasket since I had to take off the throttle body anyway. Gasket fit perfectly and so it's one less thing to worry about on an 11 year old car. Buying Genuine Toyota gaskets makes sense to me as they don't cost much more than off-brands (or at least cost a lot) and you know you won't have an unforeseen production defect when fixing something on your vehicle. Their quality control is what sets them apart from other manufacturers. And of course gaskets, by definition, have to seal perfectly. OEM parts can be ridiculously expensive, but OEM gaskets need to not allow any air, oil, coolant or other fluid to escape or else the car won't run well (and the computer will throw out all sorts of codes) or the vehicle will have leaks. For me, sometimes "it pays" to pay extra for a quality item unless I want to risk having to do a repair twice. Sometimes it's worth taking the risk, sometimes it's not.

Without my intake the wire gasket that comes on this causes the airflow to make a high-pitch whistle sound any time the throttle is slightly opened, "Eeeeeee". It's fine, but gets rather annoying...Otherwise, it's OEM and does what it's supposed to!

Perfect fit for 2006 Pontiac Vibe Base model w/ 1zz-fe 1.8L Engine despite what the Amazon part fit guide states. Amazon states the weird shaped gasket which is for the AWD model is the correct one for the base model. If you have a base model (non turbo & non AWD) 2005 to 2008 with the electronic throttle then this is the correct gasket. I replaced it along with the Genuine Toyota (17171-22060) Intake Manifold Gasket due to frequent p0171 system too lean CEL codes in cold weather.

Fitted like a glove, it's exactly as the one it replaced. I'd buy again in another 10-15 years if everything goes according to my previous experience.

Despite my car being listed as a fit for this part, the part didn’t fit. Nothing wrong with the part, just with the advertising. I took too long to try to install, and I missed the return window. Live and learn.

Its an OEM product for the Toyota Corolla. I installed this on my 2005 Toyota Corolla LE while I was doing the intake manifold gasket, since you have to take off the throttle body to remove the intake manifold anyway. Perfect replacement for preventive maintance.

Fit perfectly to seal the throttle body to the manifold. Still working at -10 degrees.
