Poly Nail Gel Kit with UV Lamp, Slip Solution, Glitter, Clear, Black, White - Poly Nail Gel All-in-One Manicure Kit

LOVE LOVE LOVE the end results on my first try BUT it took work and patience!!!!!! This is not a product that I was able to unbox, read the instructions, and execute immediately. Absolutely NOT! I have all of the tools to do my at home manicures and pedicures like a pro but had never tried anything acrylic like at home. So, when I bought this kit, I STUDIED, lol. I jumped on YouTube and watched SEVERAL polygel tutorials (the best 1 I watched was by Anastasia - "Nailcou" is her youtube channel). Based on my studying, I also purchased additional items from Amazon to ensure that I would get the desired results such as a dehrydrater and primer set, nail tip clipper, and a nail drill. The pics I've attached are NOT how my nails looked immediately after curing; I had to use my nail drill to level out the areas around my cuticles and edges, the nail tip clipper to get the nails down to the same length, and of course shape them with the nail file. I still have some more practice to do but I think they came out great for my first try. My sister thought I had gone to a salon so that's a good sign 🤷🏾‍♀️. I just don't want anyone thinking that your first try with the instructions alone will give the professional like results you want. It takes way more.

This was a very cute set, I wish the cure light was better/bigger but other than that a great starter set for new ones trying this method of nails!

The media could not be loaded. I can not believe how easy this is to do !!! I am not a nail technician but my nails look like I went to the salon !!! I don’t usually do reviews but this was just too good , I had to let everyone know about it . So I put the gel on the nail smoothed it out with the brush and pressed onto the nail , cured with the UV light 2 x then flipped my finger over and did 1x for the underneath , then popped off the nail and I was left with an amazing long artificial nail . I cut it down and filed the edges and then I applied color street nail strips ( I love them you can get them on FB at nail crush with Linda .. she does all kinds of games and deals . The strips are 100% nail polish but I have short nails so I wanted something to give me long nails for my nail strips and this poly gel kit is great !!!! I am allergic to dip powder and acrylic is so hard to do at home and get it smooth . I’m absolutely in love with this poly gel nail kit!!! if you’re thinking about buying it you just Gotta do it because it’s so easy and looks so good!!

Now I haven't managed to get a full set using this product, but that is because it does require a serious time commitment to learning how to use it. I did expect this and it hasn't affected my review. However, when the product came, the mermaid bag was almost impossible to open. I thought I was going to have to cut it open. When I finally got it pulled open enough to put a finger inside the bag to see if the zipper was caught, I could tell poly gel had exploded all over the inside of the bag. After further inspection and finally getting the bag pried open, it just seems like the clear exploded though the top of tube. Other than the broken tube, the other tubes were all sealed and the colors are lovely. I have a feeling I will really be pleased with the product, but having to spend a significant amount of time trying to clean off the other tubes and throwing the bag away left a negative experience.

Lesson learned. This product (anything that has a smell/chemicals) can not be returned and iv learned my lesson. I loved the videos they put up and pics but this is how it comes out. NOT pretty and takes hours to do not like the videos.Smells horrible.Time consuming.Does not stay on your nails.I'm sure if you keep doing it at home as time will get better at applying it but it's so unreasonable that I would rather pay someone to do it for me.

For the longest time I used acrylics— NEVER AGAIN. I love my nails, but before you buy, there are some things you should know. Do not expect your first set to be perfect, it will not be. Use it as a learning curve so you get an idea of just what to do. THE BASE COAT, will come out sticky, it’s supposed to! It’s so that the sticky layer bonds with the polygel, it makes your nail stronger. The top coat will cure completely and super shiny, so don’t sweat it. The colors are not solid, they are pigmented but translucent, in thicker parts you’ll see it and you’ll know when you’ve made a thin spot bc You can SEE THROUGH it. This is not a 5 min process, it took me about a half hour to finish a full set, you will need to file! I recommend setting up paper towels on your work surface, the gel is sticky and will remain highly movable until you hit it with the LED light, and just in case, be prepared for a couple drops. This kit has saved me hours over acrylic and I love them so much more, I’ve had zero lifting even through work. The lamp it comes with is only 6w, you may wanna consider getting a better light but the 6w will make do. I will definitely be getting more PolyGels!!

I'm really disappointed in this product. The bag is super cute and the materials look good but the gel was dry and hard to work with and didn't cure well even after being under the uv light for about 8 minutes. It stays the texture of very stale bubble gum and doesn't file well. It gummed up the provided file and ruined 2 $5 bits on my electric sander tool. Its been 24 hrs and the corner of my thump nail just dented and peeled off.My nails are sort of flat and the forms are very arched so without having clips to hold the form to the nail i had to manually hold them down which meant i could old cure one at a time and I still needed up with air bubbles. The whole process took 2 hrs and they dont look very good. The nails that aren't super thick feel very flimsy but the thick ones look terrible.
