Leviton 15 Amp, 125 Volt, Cord Outlet, Rubber, Grounding, 515CR, Black

I bought this Leviton cord outlet to replace a worn-out plug on one of my extension cords, and it worked perfectly. The build quality is noticeably better than the cheap replacement ends you find in most hardware bins. The rubber housing feels durable and sturdy, and it gives a solid grip when plugging and unplugging devices. Installation was straightforward, even for someone who doesn’t do electrical work every day. The terminals were clearly labeled, and the internal clamp held the cord securely without slipping. Once assembled, everything felt tight and professional. I’ve been using it with power tools and outdoor equipment, and it handles the load without getting warm or loose. The grounding connection is solid, and the overall construction gives confidence that it will hold up over time. If you need a reliable replacement plug for an extension cord or appliance cord, this is definitely worth spending a little extra on. Strong, dependable, and easy to install.

This is a very nice cord outlet. It is put together very nice and allows for easy installation. It should last you for many years. It is a quality product. It is not of the quality that the old USA manufactures use to make, but it still is put together well so that it will not burn your house down. For the price it is an excellent choice. I suppose you could pay more to get something better. For me it is a great product and worked exactly the way it should.

While these outlets are large, they are very easy to use.

Good quality as expected from Leviton. Like that the wires clamp in instead of having to wrap around a screw. Also that the screws won't come out when you back them off. Having said that, a caveat. No instructions. Would have been nice to have a recommendation for how much to strip back. Also, explain that you have to spread the clamps open for the hot and neutral wires. Both easy to figure out but still does take studying it a bit before going ahead. The stress relief is good but instruction should recommend pushing the cable through before stripping back the insulation. Again, obvious once you've done one but most of us aren't installing these all the time.

Does the job great. I have an old 100ft extension cord that's old and not worth replacing since its 10awg wire, only issue is the original female side of the cord has seen better days. Over years and years of use and getting hot it's deformed a bit and doesn't hold onto plugs well at all. This product was a great solution to breath some new life into it. Very easy to install just strip your wire and tighten down the screws over it like you would replacing an outlet inside. Super high quality and made of strong stiff plastic, it definitely won't deform like the old one did and i imagine it will hold up to being dropped or throw on the ground for the rest of my life. It isn't very big but still a lot bigger than a normal plug end, which isn't a worry for me at all. Best of all this grabs onto your plugs tight and hopefully it stays tight, as my dad always told me, if it ain't tight it ain't right.

This replacement outlet-plug works great! Installing was very easy. Good value.

Exactly what I expected from Leviton.

I originally bought this because I thought I was supporting US manufacturing. The description says it's made in the USA but when I received the product, it says the country of origin is Mexico. If I had known this, I would have bought a cheaper brand. I won't be fooled again.

Easy attachment and works fine.

Que es un buena clavija para una extensión, utilice cable calibre 12 de uso rudo de 3 hilos y sin complicaciones al instalarla. La recomiendo

El producto es de buena calidad y fácil de armar.

Great product!
