WÜSTHOF Gourmet 4-Piece Steak Knife Set, Black

Sharp, Elegant, and Built to last. I am beyond impressed with this WÜSTHOF Gourmet steak knife set. The craftsmanship is outstanding — solid, well-made, and clearly built to last. The blades are razor-sharp and cut cleanly with very little pressure. The black handles give them a sophisticated, modern look that pairs beautifully with any table setting. If you want steak knives that are both functional and attractive, this set is a fantastic choice. Worth every penny.

Have used these a LOT for about four months and they are terrific, sharp knives for a great price. I use them as paring knives, along with setting the table with them. I would buy again.

If you want professional quality knives that you can hand down from one generation to the next Wusthof is it. PLEASE don’t throw in a drawer or the dishwasher. Hand wash, let air dry after you wipe with a towel and store in a quality leather roll. If you take care of them they’ll last several lifetimes.

These knives are excellent! My son got them as a Christmas gift for our home. Really smooth cutting.

Lighter weight than my Wusthof carving knives, but adequate for table use.

Not the cheapest, just the best. Plain edge easier to sharpen than serrated. Make beef and turkey seem more tender because they cut so easily.

PERFECT upgrade our knife collection. Sharp, They have a nice weight and they dress up the table.

Seem relatively well made, but a bit disappointed they’re not that sharp. Dragged one across my finger to check and it didn’t cut through, not the quality I expect from wusthof. I expect they’ll sharpen just fine, but it’s an added task. I suppose you get what you pay for at this price point. On the upside, they do look good and feel good in your hand.

I purchased a WÜSTHOF Gourmet 4-Piece Steak Knife Set from Amazon in 2023 as well as a WÜSTHOF Gourmet 3" Paring Knife. All 5 of these knives are starting to "fall apart" - one rivet has come out and all the others are "pitting", eroding (metal is disappearing) as well as losing their shine. The rivets don't seem to be made of stainless steel - they look like aluminum. I also purchased a WÜSTHOF Classic 5" Serrated Utility Knife but the 3 rivets on that knife remain shiny and strong - no degradation at all. I've owned WÜSTHOF knives for decades and this is my first bad experience with them.
