good for full time bed?

I've had about 3 of them, that I use as full time beds. Different models, but all intex. It kind of depends. If you are a solo sleeper, most definitely! If you have a sleeping partner, maybe not. Or perhaps go with a king size, if your living space allows for it. The main part of the bed, you can inflate or deflate to match whether you like it firm, or deflate it from there to match what you prefer. However, the sides of the bed, will ALWAYS be squishy, and have NO support. I also agree, I dunno if it's just this brand, or if others are like this too. But yeah, 3-6 months of life is about what I get out of them. Also yes, put a comforter under your sheet. They DO allow cold air to come up through the floor. Hope this helps! :)

Do you need to keep it plugged in the whole time you’re using it?

No you don't need to keep it plugged in the whole time you're using it. After about a week I did have to add a little more air to the mattress.

Whats the exact wattage of the air pump? Looking to use a converter for car to blow the mattress up.
