VetriScience Omega Healthy Skin Capsules for Dogs and Cats, 90 Count

I have an almost 3 year old Saint Bernard that has chronic, disgusting skin issues. He does pulse rounds of antibiotics for chronic infections, has severe allergies, and even the dermatologist has issues getting him regulated. I had noticed that he was chewing on his back again and licking his front legs, and had called in a refill of antibiotics to preemptively start so it wouldn't become a raging infection again, but had also recently purchased these. I figured no time like the present since his skin was gross anyway. After 2 days on these, I didn't need the antibiotics. His coat is healthy, he's about 80% less itchy, and the staining on his skin where he licks is slowly disappearing. I could not be happier with this product. Even better, it hasn't upset his already sensitive stomach. Definitely something I am going to keep him on! He's been on it a month, and there are no regrets!

great product they work my "doggers " he has hip issues and the omegas really help. I would like to see the oil in a pump container! My old friend will not eat the capsules so I would cut in half pour out the oil into his food and that was not working best for us. I really like the effectiveness Good Stuff 😊

My golden retriever "might" have a mild case of ichthyosis. Either way, I'm seeing white skin flakes all around the outside perimeter of her kennel and her hang-out spots. Thought it would go away over time but it didn't. I did my research and also went to the vet, and was recommended to supplement my dog's diet with omega oils. This had a great rating and some promising testimonials so I bought it. My results: - Usage: I give my dog one in the morning and one at night. - Feeding style: The pill looks exactly like the fish oil "gel" caps that humans consume, maybe a tad bigger. I used to give it to my dog along with a treat to trick her into eating it, but now I just drop the capsule on top of her dry food when I feed her and she gobbles it up. Seemed like she was wary about it at first (she would spit it out), but after tasting the inside, she seems to enjoy both the taste and chewing the actual capsule part. - Change in flakiness: I *think* the flakiness has reduced. Either way, it hasn't gone away for good, but my mind is telling me it's been reduced, and her coat seems a little nicer. No miraculous change though. Might just be something I have to deal with when it comes to ichthyosis.

My dog has been taking this supplement for almost two months. She loves it and very easy for her to take it. Her poop has improved a lot.

Great Product! Very hard to find a supplement that covers all three omega 3-6-9, I did alot of research to find one tablet that covers everything - this is the best one. My dog eats them in a pill pocket and takes them fine, my cat I pop them with a needle and give it on the food. They are too large for a cat to eat. So if you dont wan the hassle of opening them for your cat, I would recommend a pump version, but really its not that big of a deal. PLUS they dont smell fishy! I have been around alot of "fish oil" products that are supposed to help with skin and over time they start to make the dogs smell "fishy" their breath, skin and "smells from their rear" and its terrible - I have been using this for month and HAVE NOT HAD THIS SIDE-EFFECT! Its great

Our puppy (5 months) eats this with her food and never separates it from her food. It was recommended she only take one every other day by our Vet Tech. It has helped her coat stay shiny and look healthy. We will continue to buy this product.

After a couple weeks this made my dogs fur GLISTEN! Strangers comment on his fur. He had out of the blue, started to lose fur and a lot! The vet recommended this, and after about 2 months all his fur regrew and he just looks magnificent! Couldn't recommend any higher!

I've found no problems with these pills. They were recommended by my vet and I'm very happy with the results. After a week of use (one pill per day for a 50lb dog), we could tell that our dog's coat was shinier and softer. She has no problems digesting it and everything looks good to go. The oil smells slightly fishy, but what do you expect? Not pungent and I can't smell it on my dog's breath at all. We generally cut open the pill and drizzle it over the top of her food. Haven't had a problem.
