Easy and Fast Growing Sprouts with Impressive Yield
I wanted to try some indoor gardening that would be simple, low maintenance, and not attract gnats. Growing organic alfalfa sprouts seemed like a great option since theyโre easy to add to so many meals. At first, the price felt a little high for a one pound bag, but that quickly changed once I started using them. I was genuinely surprised by how many sprouts I got from just one tablespoon of seeds (see photos). The process is straightforward. Just rinse and drain daily. Mine were ready in about five to six days. They turned out fresh, crisp, and really tasty, and my family enjoyed them a lot. A little goes a long way, so the value ends up being much better than it seems at first. Iโm really glad I gave these a try and will definitely be buying more when we run out. A great choice if you want an easy way to grow fresh sprouts at home.

I am SO happy with these Alfalfa Sprout seeds!
I heard about how nutritious sprouts are and how good they are for detoxing on a recent Mike Adams episode (The Health Ranger) and ordered these seeds the next day. I also ordered the wide mouth canning jars with strainers I wanted to grow them in, and they all came a few days later. The directions on the package are easy to follow. I put one teaspoon of seeds in each jar. I soaked the seeds for about five or six hours, and then rinsed the sprouts every three to six hours after that. They sprouted within two to three days. It was a bit overwhelming having to rinse the sprouts so often in the middle of the night - I was literally carrying the jars upstairs every night! However, after a few nights of this, I realized I could skip the middle of the night rinse by wrapping the jars in a plastic bag every night which holds the water in and keeps the sprouts moist, so they don't dry out! This made it feel less of a chore, and now it is just a commitment to rinse them every couple of hours when I am in the kitchen. This takes only about a minute or two and has become part of my normal routine already. This picture was taken exactly one week from the day that I started them. I did take three servings from the jar on the right for salads, which is why the sprouts are lower in that jar. They tasted great in the salad, combined with carrots, celery, mushroom, and ranch dressing, by the way. They are crisp, with a strong, fresh flavor. I had tried hydroponic gardening last winter and found it was rewarding but a bit frustrating waiting almost a month for the lettuce to grow big enough to eat. In comparison, it has only been a week, and already I have enough sprouts for a dozen salads when combined with other vegetables! I would highly recommend these sprouts if you have the ability to keep them on a kitchen counter where you remember to rinse them regularly. You may be able to keep them moist during the day the way I do at night - by wrapping them in a plastic bag (like a shopping bag) if you are not able to rinse as often because you work full time - this does keep the moisture in the containers, so they do not dry out for eight or ten hours! This is definitely a good buy, and fun too!

Excellent Germination and Flavorful Alfalfa Sprouts
I absolutely love this microgreen and sprouting seed variety pack from Rainbow Heirloom Seed Co., especially the alfalfa sprouts. They sprouted quickly, tasted amazing, and have become a staple in my kitchen routine. Pros: โข High Germination Rate: Nearly every alfalfa seed sprouted beautifully, resulting in a fresh, crunchy harvest. โข Delicious and Fresh: The alfalfa sprouts are crisp, mildly nutty, and full of flavor, perfect for salads, wraps, and sandwiches. โข Easy to Grow: Great even for beginners. Just soak, rinse, and wait a few days for a satisfying yield. โข Clean, Heirloom Seeds: Non-GMO and very high quality. No fillers, no wasteโjust good, clean seeds that do what they promise. This is hands down one of the best sprouting seed packs Iโve ever tried. If you enjoy growing your own alfalfa sprouts at home, this is a no-brainer. Highly recommended!

Fresh, crisp, and perfect for sprouting in your own kitchen!
Weโve bought these Nature Jimโs Alfalfa Seeds four times, and we often buy them together with the Salad Mix seeds to grow them in the same container. That way, we sprout different seeds at the same time (see pics), and they never disappoint. They sprout easily, and itโs so satisfying to grow something fresh and nutritious right in our own kitchen. The flavor is light, crisp, and fresh, which makes them perfect for so many meals. My partner loves them in sandwiches, and I like to toss them with a bit of olive oil and mix with my rice. The texture is wonderfully crunchy when freshly grown, and they keep well in the refrigerator for up to 5 days (though in our house theyโre usually gone much sooner!). I also appreciate that they donโt have any unpleasant smell ( since we grow them in our kitchen) just a fresh, clean scent. The resealable bag is a nice touch, it keeps the seeds fresh between batches. If you want an easy, healthy way to grow your own greens at home, these alfalfa seeds are a must-have.

These sprout amazingly well!
It took a bit longer for these to arrive than is typical, but absolutely worth the wait! 2 TBSP of these and within 4 days my sprouting jar was packed with lovely yummy sprouts. They germinated within 24 hours of the initial soak, and grew really quickly. These are really high quality and fresh, so there was no waste at all. I had way better results than I have had with other brands. I really like the alfalfa because it has a nice light flavor and is packed with nutrients. They are a nice spring green as they should be, and as I mentioned they rapidly grew in size. So easy to use! I am absolutely getting these again. But, not for an few months because you get lots of seeds in one bag, such a great value.

Great seeds. Taste awesome. Only thing to make it better would be to add a measure scooper.
