This item is is very reasonably priced, especially since you get two units in the order. This style of wig stand is better for hair pieces than solid Styrofoam, cloth, or wood stands because it allows air circulation under and through the cap. This is important to allow the fabric to breathe and aerate to maintain them in optimal condition. These work well for what I use them for, which is storing my wigs, and I'm very pleased with the product. I recommend them. Tip: I purchased a package of thin nylon wig caps separately to place over the head portion of the stand. I don't use these caps on my head because the compression is too tight so I layer two of them on a stand as a covering. This provides a smooth surface over any protruding edges on the stand to ensure that the inside of the hair piece is protected from any potential snags, whether they're open-weft or hand-tied styles. The stands work well as-is, so I have no issues with it. This is just an additional step I take as a precaution because wigs are an investment and I feel it's a minor cost to buy the nylon caps to protect my investment. (I bought a pack of 20 for $7.)

I primarily ordered this stand to dry my hats on when I clean them. They are perfect for this. They are plastic, easy to put together and did not tip over, at least not when I hang my hat on it. When my hats are dry I disassemble the stand. It lays flat which makes it easy to store. I'm not sure how sturdy they would be for wigs. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.

Love these stands for my hats! They are very handy, easy to set up and use, and they store completely flare when not in use. Got these to keep my favorite brimmed hats from getting yanked out of shape on a hook. Only reason I didn’t give five stars is because I wish they were bigger in circumference to facilitate the drying and blocking of hats. I will definitely order more to keep on hand - being able to store them flat in a drawer is a godsend in my tiny apartment. These do not have a wide base, so if you’re using to display hats (or wigs, for that matter) in public, you may want to find a way to anchor them to a board or table (I’m thinking little self-stick Velcro tabs), because they will tip over if jostled by passers by.

I don’t plan on using this as a “display” wig stand, as I have a hanging stand for that. I bought it to use to hang my wig on after washing it or “cool off” after a wear. That being said, this collapsible wig stand is great for that purpose. It’s plastic, so getting wet won’t hurt it, and I can set it down in the bathtub or sink with the wig on it to dry. If I want to take it with me while traveling, it’s easy to take apart to lie flat in a suitcase, and simply snap back together again when needed (assembly is super simple.) It seems sturdy enough for my intended use, and I’m pretty sure it will last a long, long time. I’m very satisfied, and would recommend buying it.

Not as sturdy as I was hoping! I have to keep it very close to the wall to give it more support.

Great wig stands. I have multiples of these, they are put togwether in three pieces and you can put them together fast and easy. Gret value.

Very convenient to put your wig on

This product includes 2 plastic black wig stands. originally, I was hesitant to purchase them because I didn't know how sturdy they would be. Each stand consists of 3 snap together pieces. I have to admit I did need to look at the product detail to see how to put it together. But after that it assembled in a couple of seconds and dis-assembles just as fast. Just make sure the pieces snap snugly together so it won't tip over. I don't need mine for travel but wanted them to hold my wigs at home. I like them better than my Styrofoam heads because the wigs can air out on the stand. The product is functional and practical. The price is a great value for the money and for 2 stands. The wig stands were chosen to stand in a small space. The stands are fragile due to the plastic manufacturing and are difficult to slot together. That is the base section particularly. In trying to fit this and have the base sit/ stand level, one leg broke off quite easily. The other stand, stands on a lean; and a portion of the upper section broke.
