Great print quality, great content (only 1 minor gripe)
So I just got my book today, and not to repeat other reviews but come on, rate the product for what it is, not due to your lack of understanding! So first, since I ordered the print version, I've gotta say the thing that most concerned me before ordering was the quality of the printing. This is a very cheap book, as in price-wise, it's on the low end particuarly for a high-color book, and I feared the print quality would suffer as a result. However, I've gotta say, the print quality is phenomenal. Nice thick glossy pages (but not so thick that the entire book is like 10 pages), spot-on high quality color printing, it just feels nice. The comics are also hilarious, but as other reviewers have commented, much of it is already on the 'net. That being said, I wasn't really shocked and personally, I don't think that's all that much of a problem. Many books merely gather web content, and many of them don't even provide new content as well! I have a post-secret book, which even though it's all online, seeing it in print is worth the price (if you like that kind of stuff). Heck, many comic series are free (Hobbes, Garfield, etc) yet I still buy those books as well. Anyways, the gist of it is yes, much of the book is already online, but some of it is not; if you absolutely love the Oatmeal comics the new ones are worth it, if you're kinda "meh" on the ones that area already online such as "How to Tell If Your Cat Is Plotting to Kill You", then no, the new content isn't worth it. Funny, but not pee your pants hilarious. Finally, This leads me to my one complaint, but again, I'd say it's also personal opinion: I wish the book was larger. While I can see and appreciate how neatly Inman organized the comics to work in a normal novel-size book, I think comics lend themselves to more "creative" book sizes, particularly when they are somewhat conversation-piece oriented. Personally, I actually would have liked a 10"x14" hardbound version, but I think Matthew did this probably to make the piece more affordable. Like I said, that's personal opinion, but I'm not going to knock off stars because Matthew didn't personally make and design the book to my exact specifications. The book is solid, and more then worth the price of admission.

Wonderfully warped!
The Oatmeal never disappoints! The book is hilarious as expected, and it makes you wonder what goes on inside that guy’s head lol! Great for cat owners or as a gift for a cat owner.

An amusing and entertaining book for anyone who likes cats.
As a cat lover most of my life I have sponsored numerous cats over the years. As any cat lover knows, you really do not own a cat. Their independent nature seems to always win out. I also like dogs and have had several of them, but cats bring with them a certain mysterious attitude that makes them so special. A dog will listen and do what you tell them, but a cat will sometimes listen to you but will still do what they want. I have also purchased many books about cats over the years. I recently bought this (How to tell if your cat is plotting to kill you by the Oatmeal – Mathew Inman) volume at a bargain price. I found this to be a very amusing and entertaining book by someone who obviously loves, and understands to some degree, the nature of cats. This book is filled with bits of cat lore and is fully illustrated. Some of the material covered in this text is as follows: 6 ways to tell if your car thinks it’s a mountain lion. How you see your cat and how your car sees you. How to tell if your cat is plotting to kill you. Things cats love. Waking the dog VS walking the cat. Proximity to a tuna sandwich. Cat VS internet. The 3 was of dealing with cat litter. If we treated our cats like they treat us, and many other amusing sections. If you are a cat lover this is the kind of book you will find delightful and amusing. Rating: 4 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: The Samurai Soul: An old warrior’s poetic tribute).

An essential for every cat owner
This book is a #1 New York Times Best Seller for a reason. It perfectly captures the quirky, often suspicious-looking behaviors of cats and translates them into a hilarious narrative of "feline world domination."

Funny! BUT It Really Is All About Cats
I bought this because I'm a huge Oatmeal fan; I love his website as well as his last book "5 Very Good Reasons to Punch a Dolphin in the Mouth." I was a little surprised to find that the whole book is really just comics and humor about cats (maybe, in hindsight, I should have read about it a little more before purchasing, but hence, this review--so you guys know what I didn't!) I'm a dog person, I've never had cats, never plan to...however, I DID laugh out loud at some things, but overall it was a little cat-humor overkill for me. I'm sure for a cat lover/aficionado/person/etc. this will definitely be up their alley (or make a great gift!) The price was very reasonable so I don't have buyer's regret as it makes a nice coffee table book that people peruse & laugh at, even me.

For the cat lover in us all
I was a cat owner (or cat staff) for most of my adult life. I'd say the closest my cat ever came to killing me was when he placed himself right in the way of my foot at the top of the stairs...more than once 😆 But if you like simple books of humor, the Oatmeal doesn't disappoint with this one.

Purrfect.
It's the perfect depiction of the consciousness of a cat, draw by the Oatmeal. Couldn't be better, unless a cat was narrating it.

Nonsense
The fact that this is advertised as a bestseller should be used to show how low people's standards are. The "book" consists of a shamefully limited amount of pages of incredibly unfunny comics, most of which are not even related to cats trying to kill you. I wasted 10 minutes of my life, and the "book" went straight into the garbage.
