This was worth every penny! I bought it because so many Asian recipes require this as an ingredient. I finally caved and made the effort to buy this (along with some dark soy sauce, another staple) and I am so glad I did. It really changed up the recipes and made them taste like they truly came from a legit Chinese restaurant. Goes to show you that the seemingly little steps make a huge difference. Plus a little goes a long way. Will definitely be buying again as soon as I run out!

If you’re making chicken fried rice, you need this and ginger and five spice and oyster sauce to make the perfect dish. Use sparingly, lol only a half a cap to 2 cups of rice or it’ll overwhelm the dish
