Worked as intended. You put this adapter in the picatinny mount for your optic, then slide the whole optic/mount onto your 3/8 dovetail. Most dovetails are aluminum as well as this mount. Really torqued onto the 3/8 dovetail this adapter did not mar it up. Definitely recommend as opposed to some of the bulkier picatinny adapters

This is a great quality product, Maybe the quality control is not working good or they are sleeping, in the photo you will see the problem, one is ok and the other one has a bad assembly problem, I fixed it, not a big deal, at the end is a GOOD PRODUCT QUALITY.

The low profile adapters are one of the better solutions to convert from dovetail to picatinny. Too bad the tiny Phillips screw are soft metal and strip out easily which made one side non-functional for me after needing to reposition them. See pics. Need to look for a more durable option.

I bought these because I wanted a LOW profile dovetail to picatinny adapter. These are that. But good luck getting them to install. The are spring loaded to open or spread apart. I am an engineer, and I fail to see how this is helpful in the least. If anything they should be spring loaded to close to facilitate installation. But no, the designers of this product do not seem to want you to actually install these adapters on anything. Once you overcome the spring-loaded separation, say with a locking vice grips, you then have to tighten a tiny grub screw to, theoretically, lock the adapter in place on your dovetail. You then try to mount your optic on the picatinny. As your are mounting, the grub screw decides to give way, and the spring mounted opening pops the thing off your dovetail. Once I did get my optic to install. Thinking it was secure, I started sighting-in what it was mounted on. Adjusting the optic, and this adapter decides to pop off. These are not useful rail adapters. So far I have only found higher-profile adapters that actually work.

Most cheap dovetail rings do not center over the receiver very well and it causes issues with POI at different distances. I use these in conjunction with decent quality picatinny rings and it centers the rings more precisely over the bore. These adapters have one cross slot to accommodate the clamping screw/lug of the picatinny mount or ring. If your mount/ring has multiple recoil lugs this will not work.

Tried installing these on a Gamo air rifle with a rounded dovetail mount. The height of the "round" came in contact with the adapter and made it impossible for the adapter to grab ahold of the dovetail slots.

This product is a disappointment. The horizontal phillips screws set within the mounting bracket itself are made of cheap metal, which strip even when using precision screwdrivers. The internal spring system which provides horizontal clamping resistance jammed at an uneven interval out of the package, thus making installation impossible. The captive screw which provides vertical pressure to the mount scratched the surface of the weaver rail. Under no circumstances would I ever recommend this product or other products from this seller. Save your time, money, and optic rail from damage.

I used these to attach a Sparc Ii Red dot to a Chiappa M1-9. Make sure you attach the adapter to the optic first then slide it onto the dovetail. The fit on the dovetail was tight but seems very solid.

Worked well for what I needed, install into optic first then to rail. One of the adapters came with a couple screws stripped out.
