Guess Who? Original Guessing Game for Kids Ages 6 and Up for 2 Players

Bought this as a Christmas present for my niece and nephew. I played this as a kid and loved it so much I wanted to bring that same joy to the new generation. The most notable update of this game is that it is a lot more diverse. The characters represent many different races, ethnicities, and genders. This actually really gave the game a lot more to go on in terms of the kinds of descriptive clues you could ask about. I thought this was a nice way to get kids (of all ages) to really observe the characters and and find the differences and similarities between each of them. It also kind of normalizes talking about race and gender as well as teaches kids how to describe people's physical qualities with kindness and neutrality. Weirdly deep? Maybe. But ultimately the game is as fun as I remember it (if not more) and I appreciate the creators' attempt to be inclusive. This classic game has upheld its reputation and aged really well. Would definitely recommend!

I bought this after my daughter fell in love with it while playing my original board game from when I was a kid. In my opinion, this version is superior to the original. I’m not just talking about the fact that it represents all skin tones, or even that the male/female ratio is 50/50. This updated game has a slightly larger board than the original and it is also a bit heavier/well made. The paper inserts are indeed made of paper...just like the original. They “click” right into place and we have not had the problem of them falling out again, even after “flicking” down the characters or flipping the board upside down to flip them back up again. There is also a new feature, though small. This game comes with pegs that you can insert into the board after winning to keep score. It implies that the first to five correct guesses wins. I prefer this new version to the original any day. I have both game boards (original and new version) and it’s easy to see that the newer on is higher quality.

I would say it is a tiny bit pricy by a few dollars but it is worth it. Was a little small than I expected from the picture but was lots of fun and was already made you just had to do the simple stuff. It teaches you how to play the game too. It does break a bit easy the yellow flap but you can just put it on again, so, no big deal. Very fun, I recommend it.

We love this game! This is the third Guess Who game I’ve purchased. I bought this one for my granddaughters, ages 6, 4, 2, 5 mo. The recommended age is 6+. However, with some coaching, my 2 and 4 year olds did fine. The characters on this set more accurately represent many ethnic and cultural groups we find in a diverse population, an improvement from the older sets. This change introduces new ideas to my grandkids. For example, some men wear earrings and some women cover their hair to show modesty and respect. Mechanically speaking, the doors on this design get jammed sometimes when opening or closing and the doors tend to sit crooked in the base. My other two games don’t have these problems. It would seem the new door design isn’t an improvement, thus the 4 star rating.

We had an older version of Guess Who; this is a good update. It’s a fun game. It works well for younger children, but anyone can play. It’s not a hassle. You could play multiple rounds in 5-10 minutes; once you put it together, you can take it out and put it in away in less than a minute. It can be played in teams, but it’s best suited for 2 people alone. It’s a convenient size. You can place the people wherever you want. The cards are thin and can be bent easily if you try, but they won’t be damaged in regular use.

This is an easy to learn game that kept my 9 and 10 year old grandkids laughing game after game...and that's really the point, right?! I was lucky enough to grab this game on sale, so definitely a great value for the money! It's a game that has been around for years, so there has to be something Hasbro did right with this! It's as easy as can be, took less than 10 minutes to put the face cards onto both of the gamesboards, the directions are easy to follow...simple is good! It's a 2 player game, great to have around the house for an adult and child to play or two children. 5☆ all the way!

My son loves it! I dont know about the bad reviews, probably they were putting the cards in the wrong way, because the stay still perfectly and we have played several games. The thing is that you must fit them well, if you only put them in (like in my picture with the card that says SAM) of course they're going to fall off, but if you put them correctly (as in my picture with MIA card) you wont have any problem. I am also adding a video on how to place them correctly just in case. IT IS PERFECT

I bought this Guess Who game for a Kris Kringle (Dirty Santa/stealing game) and customized it by changing all the characters to teachers at our school. I even adapted the cover to feature teacher faces! It takes a lot of effort to make, but it was absolutely worth it. It now comes back every single year, and everyone fights over it. It's an incredibly fun, personalized, and appreciated gift!

Fun but my 7 year old had a hard time with the game quality is decent great price
