Cuisinart FP2-24BKP1 10-Inch Frittata Nonstick Set, Black/Stainless Steel

Perfect for frittata and tortilla de patata I have been looking for one of this for a while and I decided to try this one and I can say that it works perfectly for what I wanted it. I am originally from Spain and I wanted to make tortilla de patatas. It worked great. Easy to use and to clean. Since both sides can be used separately it is very easy to stack them up when I am not using them.

I love the pans. I can no longer flip a pan onto to dish and back onto the pan. If you have arthritis like I do in your wrists, you are going to be so pleased with the ease of turning it without it falling all over the stove. I cook the onions in the smaller one while I fry the potatoes in the bigger one on medium. Once eggs are beaten I mix in the sauteed onions and potatoes, mix well. Let it stand for 5 to 10 minutes. In the Medium-low place the mixture in the bigger. Spread layer evenly. Make sure you tuck all sides into the omelette while cooking. Past 6 to 7 minutes tuck again and make sure it's not stuck on the sides. Insert the smaller pan and turn it and make sure you shake it a bit for the omelet to level off. 6-7 minutes more omelet is done. If you like it runny just do, 4-5 minutes. Pictures below. You can make it darker if you like.

At first, I was worried this wouldn't be big enough for a family of 7. It was, and had enough room for seconds or leftovers. This pan is a great addition to my repertoire. I have made tortilla española without the special pan, and it's a pain. This pan makes the whole process soooo easy- and way less messy. Love this pan. Recommend.

I'm a kitchen gadget nut. But so often, I'm either disappointed with my purchase or find that a gadget takes up too much real estate in my kitchen for how useful it is. Not the case with this pan. I love it. I've owned it for about 8 months now and I highly recommend you buy this pan. I'm not sure who at Cuisinart designed it but they need a promotion. The pan rims interlock perfectly and the handles are ergonomically designed to fit together and fit roundly in your hand when you flip. The nonstick cover hasn't degraded at all in the time that I've had it...and it literally makes a lovely omelette, perfectly even and cooked through. It conducts the heat extremely well and the pans fit together nice and tight for fritattas. The only thing I've noticed is that if there's a lot of liquid in the pan, when you flip it, if you're not gripping it very tight, you can get a little liquid out of the sides. Easily fixed by either gripping the pan tightly or if you're worried about it, flip it over the sink. Its maybe happened twice that I've noticed a couple little drops out of the pan on my stove when I'm flipping it and not gripping the handle tight. Otherwise, this is a DEFINITE purchase....this pan is the bomb. I love that I can use both pans for regular pans when I'm not making eggs...they are the perfect size to fit on a medium burner and they're nice and deep. Thank you Cuisinart...keep designing stuff like this.

Great for making Spanish tortilla and flips securely and easily with little mess. That said, the pan is somewhat lightweight. I would not think this set could be used as an extra set of fry pans for daily use. Good for the task as advertised tho.

We must use this double-sided fry pan at least twice a week. Makes the best breakfast omelets and anything else you want to flip over a couple times to just the right browning. So happy with this purchase!

I’ve been making frittatas all my adult life. I started out using a plate to flip the frittata (just like my mother)...sometimes good, sometimes not so good. Then I bought a very expensive frittata pan set...and gave it away just to get it out of my kitchen. Then I bought this set. Nobody is getting it from me! Made the BEST and PRETTIEST potato, bacon, and sausage frittata I’ve ever made! Sautéed shallot and garlic in one pan. Browned the meat in the other pan. Put it all together in the bottom pan. Flipped it with the top pan on. Perfection. No sticking. No mess. Super easy to use. Super easy to clean. AND the red is so pretty. Such a great set for a terrific price!

we love it! we use it to do tortilla de papas and it really works. It’s very good quality and it’s not too heavy so it’s easy to turn around the tortilla even if it’s a big one
