My cats need grain free food and those food is perfect. It is affordable and the cats love the taste. The aren't any bad ingredients, making it a healthy choice for the cats. The bite size pieces make these easy for the cats to chew and digest well. This is a largge size bag of food for a great price. Last a long time. But also stays fresh.

I've been trying to find cat food that is higher quality, as my cat gets older and I get more savvy about how important their nutrition is... Unfortunately, I have possibly the most picky cat on the planet!! I have wasted countless dollars on high quality, high dollar food. My cat takes one sniff, turns his nose up and walks away!! Purina Beyond is a more middle of the road price-point. It has a solid reputation and the ingredient list is reasonably good. I asked my vet what he thought of the brand and he said it was quite good, especially for the price. He also said that it doesn't really matter how 'good' the high end foods are, if my cat won't eat them!! I bought a bag of Purina Beyond Chicken with my fingers securely crossed!! YAYAYAYAY!!! He absolutely LOVES it. He seems to have no sensitivity to it either... So I though I would give this other flavor a try, to mix things up... YAYAYAY!! He loves this too!! This is the best cat food I can find for my kitty with allergies (without having to get the expensive medical cat food from the vet). He gets sick a lot less since we switched to this food. All 3 of my cats seem to like the taste. I just wish it was cheaper.

My cat has been very healthy with this food. Coat is nice and shiny. No hair balls or vomiting. He is always ready for his next bowl.

I decided to switch my cat to this food because it is a relatively high-quality dry food that isn't excessively expensive. I also trust Purina as a brand because other foods that market themselves as being of the highest quality, such as Blue Buffalo, have had scary results for some pet owners and aren't as high-quality as their prices and marketing make them out to be. I've fed my cats Purina for a long time, so when they came out with this food, I was willing to trt it. My cat took to this food surprisingly fast. Normally, when switching him to other foods, I actually have to convince him to try them, but he wanted to eat this food immediately. It has a strong fish smell, a lot like fish food flakes, and my cat loves that. I still mixed it gradually into his old food before replacing it completely with this kind because switching cats immediately to a new food can cause gastrointestinal upset and other issues. After eating this food for just a few days, I noticed a huge difference in my cat. His fur felt silky and very plush instead of being really dense, flat and a little coarse. He also seemed to have more energy, and he became unusually affectionate. He's already a very affectionate, clingy cat that makes friends with just about any person or animal he meets, but he was obviously very excited for meal times and would purr while eating. He was a lot more eager to eat this food than his old food. I was surprised at what a difference it made in his fur so quickly. I wasn't really expecting that. The only downside to this and any other dry food is that it doesn't contain enough moisture to keep a cat hydrated. I supplement this food with wet food. Even a cheap wet food in conjunction with a high-quality dry food like this is better than none to keep your cat from getting dehydrated. Purina makes a wet food in this same brand, but it's more affordable right now for me to buy the dry food and a cheaper wet food. If you're looking to switch your cat to a healthier dry food that isn't outrageously priced, I highly recommend this food.
