what kind of metal is the bowl made from?

The answer above is wrong. It is not stainless steel. I was directed by Amazon to contact the manufacturer to get an answer to this question. They say it is a mix of metals, definitely not stainless steel. These composite metals are of lower grade. She did confirm the bowl is foodsafe.

Thank you for your inquiry. This bowl is food safe, please be sure to hand-wash only. Shop with us at First of a Kind!
