I use this as a base for making quick bolognese and amatriciana sauces. It has a really nice bright and balanced flavor to build on. No cloying flavor notes, over-sweetness etc. Definitely my favorite jar sauce and it's not easy to find. My Whole Foods used to carry it, but no longer. I'm glad I can get it on Amazon.

My favorite sauce in a jar. Real tomato and just the right seasoning (light) flavor.

It was not as good as I thought. These tomatoes are supposed to be revered but it could have been the recipe that we did not like. I will not purchase again.

San Marzano tomatoes are the best and the marinara sauce is the best I've ever tasted - no need at all to make your own sauce.

HI Folks - I ordered 6 jars and unfortunately they were damaged. The seller contacted me and not only replaced the WHOLE order they add in some special pasta to the care package. I would order from these fine folks again and never worry. Thank you Elizabeth

Advertised as San Marzano Tomatoes. THEY ARE NOT. These are packaged and imported by a company in New Jersey,( Simpson). Sam Marzano tomatoes are not grown in the United States. So dissatisfied, this sauce tastes like any other cheap sauce purchased in grocery store. Purchased a case.😡 Wish I could give it 0 stars.

Good, but a little too sweet for my taste. Would buy again though.

We use this marinara sauce regularly. Our local grocery quit carrying it as it was a specialty item. So have been ordering it for a couple of years now. We find it has less acidity and enjoy the taste.
