Max says 4 paws up ... if I have to be in this thing
With the arrival of our new baby we decided to crate train for the first time. We have been pet owners (more correctly pet owned) for over 35 years. Someone has always been home with our little guys to outside potty train and at night slept either in our bed or with one of our kids. This is the youngest and smallest baby we have had (9 weeks and 2.2 lbs) and we didn't feel it was safe to have him in a bed. Our vet recommended crate training. We asked about size and this one fit the bill .... for now as well as when he is fully grown. Crate arrived nicely packaged and with no damage. Was easy to assemble. We didn't force our guy in but rather placed his blanket and some toys inside. I then let him explore outside the crate and he went in it on his own. While inside I gave him a couple of his training treats. Throughout the day he would go in and out and occasionally I put a treat inside. We locked him in a couple of times while we stayed in the room .... no problems. That night we placed him in his crate, put it beside our bed and he only cried occasionally. I would talk to him and put my hand beside him. He quickly calmed and slept through the night. Now no crying and he is sleeping there. Use crate throughout the day when I have to leave the house or can't watch him. He is doing great. Used the crate to take him to the vet and it works fine. Sturdy and although not as light as a carrier it serves the purpose and we don't have to buy anything else. Obviously this would not be the case with larger pet or crate. Well made and great value for the money. Ones of equal quality at big box pet store were quite a bit more expensive. Very pleased with our purchase and Max approved!

Perfect for dogs
easy to set up, strong, doesn't take up space, and I love the lift to secure the door. Keeps my dog from breaking out.

Does the job
I got the 36” crate for my ~30 lbs leggy Kelpie mix when it was on a good sale. All my dog does is sleep in there, she’s not an escape artist and isn’t distressed in the crate, so I don’t know how this crate holds up against escape artists or destructive dogs. My dog loves her crate and if I can’t find her in the house, it’s because she’s put herself back to bed in her crate upstairs. The crate was easy to set up, I’ve only run into one sharp edge on the wire and it’s on the outside in a spot that isn’t a risk to my dog. I like the locking mechanism on the crate: you have to lift the door up to lock/unlock it in addition to using the latch. This crate is lightweight (12.7 lbs) so it’s easy to move around if that’s something you’re looking for. I have another 36” crate from a different brand that’s about twice as heavy (25 lbs) as this crate and is a pain to move around due to its weight. The only thing I don’t like about this crate is that the side door (at least on my particular crate) doesn’t stay open on its own and for some reason my dog doesn’t think she can just nudge the door further open with her nose. An easy remedy for me was to use a command hook on a nearby piece of furniture to hold the door open (see pic).

No complaints
I have 2 dogs, 1 crate already upstairs. I only intended to use for 1 dog. When I told 1 to get in, they both entered and it's big enough for both dogs. I waited to post a review, because my oldest dog always escaped from crates. We've had to always add extra locks, straps, etc in the past. She's gotten older and I don't think there enough room for her to break out🤷🏾♀️ she hasn't escaped this one. I am very happy with my purchase. The wire isn't the strongest I've purchased, I believe if she was younger she'd broken out of it. So, if you have a strong willed, what I call a Houdini of dogs, id recommend you get more heavy duty quality material. It does bend.

Solid crate — recommended by a 6-dog household
As owners of 6 dogs, we’ve tried quite a few crates. This 36-inch Precision Pet two-door wire crate is a good, reliable option and we recommend it. What works well: • Sturdy wire construction that holds up to daily use. • Double doors make it convenient for loading, cleaning, and access. • Folds flat for storage or travel. • Appropriate size for medium to larger dogs (50-70 lbs range). It’s a practical, no-frills crate that gets the job done in a multi-dog home. Great value.

Great value & my girl loves it
Ive had this for over 2 years now and I am super happy with it. My dog is a muscular 80lb princess and likes her little den just exactly right lol. I put a sheet over the top and 3 of 4 sides depending on where Im using it and she snuggles right in her doggie bed in it. I never had to teach her to go in it. It has been through 3 moves. Also, she is terribly frightened by a specific demographic. Sadly she was abused for a long time. My point being is that when she wants to get at someone, its not easy to stop her. And this does. Its been incredibly durable and in those few times Ive needed to close the kennel doors altogether, they stayed together. She has never been hurt by it. It just simply would not open, and not for lack of effort on her part. 10/10 from me.

Pet transport securely
I've used other metal cages to transport pets before but this is by far the best. (cats) It's very sturdy and assembles easily. It folds up very neatly. I typically wire tie the other cages but didn't feel the need with this one because it fits well together. The tray at the bottom is sturdy and has a small lip on the sides which "holds" items within the cage, like foot bowls, etc. I did turn the center divide into a shelf with one zip-tie. It worked great for two cats to travel comfortably with a small litter box. I would purchase again for sure.

Easy to assemble & it's about the size of a regular baking sheet.
I am a stay at home fur-Mom due to the #Covid-19 pandemic. My fur-baby just needed somewhere secure to be left the few times a month that I may need to leave home for Dr's appointments, etc. &/or when I take him to the vet. He's a full blooded Yorkie, weighs 7.5 lbs & is 10" shoulder to tail. I purchased the 19" - 2 door model. He has no room to grow (& no room to be tempted to potty - good for keeping him on track with potty training, since dogs won't potty where they lay...unless they're left in too long & have no choice). He's 6 mos old, so I'm hoping he won't grow much more. If he does, I'll cross that bridge then. All the edges are smooth & safely rounded off. It's black powder coated paint finish looks good & hopefully won't rust or chip (we'll see). The bottom tray does lock in place & slides out for easy cleaning. It does have a lift & latch door, in case your fur-baby is smart enough to figure out how to slide the latch over, the door still has to be lifted up a bit to be opened. It came with a divider & an attachable carrying handle. It's very lightweight & easy to carry, even when my dog is inside. Hope this helps you - I tried to answer all the questions I needed answered when I was crate shopping.

A Must-Have for Toy Poodle Owners - Sturdy and Convenient Small Wire Crate!
I recently purchased a small wire crate for my toy poodle and it has been an absolute game-changer! As a pet parent, finding the perfect crate is always a daunting task, but this one ticks all the boxes. First and foremost, the size is ideal for my toy poodle. It provides ample space for comfort without being overwhelmingly large. This is crucial for ensuring my furry friend feels secure and cozy in her own little den. The sturdiness of the crate is another significant plus. It feels robust and durable, giving me peace of mind that my poodle is safe and secure whether we're at home or on the go. Speaking of on-the-go, the crate's foldable design is a standout feature. It collapses down easily, which is a huge convenience for storage and travel. The addition of a handle for carrying adds to this convenience, making it effortless to transport the crate wherever we need to go. This feature is especially useful for trips to the vet or when we're visiting friends and family. In conclusion, if you're a toy poodle owner looking for a reliable, comfortable, and convenient crate, this small wire crate is a fantastic choice. It’s well-built, perfectly sized, and the portability aspect is a huge bonus. Highly recommended for anyone in the market for a high-quality crate for their small furry companion!
