PS 40 Inch Last Samurai Japanese Katana Style Sword, Engraved Honor Scabbard Design, Traditional Display Collectible, Gift Item, Outdoor Swing Practice Piece

We bought a similar looking sword for my son on Amazon two weeks ago. It arrived broken (the entire end of the scabbard was broken off). The blade was cheap wood (painted black), and everything about it was just flimsy. Even the white leather belt with two buckles (hint, so you don't buy that one). So, we sent it back. Then looked for a better replacement and I found this one for the exact same price as the other. The difference between this sword and that one was night and day in quality and workmanship comparison. It has a solid metal blade (not sharp) but nice and heavy, well balanced. Everything about this product was ten times better in quality, all the way down to the packaging and the Styrofoam inside the box. So, glad I returned and asked for a refund instead of a replacement for the other sword with the cheap black wooden blade. I have no affiliation with either vendor. I'm a happy parent. I got a gift for my son that he was very insistent about, and I know he will be very happy with it. I'll put up a photo or video as soon as he gets it.

The sword is absolutely beautiful. I bought for my grandson. He collects Samiri swords. I will definitely be back for more. I highly recommend this seller.

So I absolutely love the Katana, but it is not sharp as listed. It is dull. Extreme opposite. It won't cut anything. You will have to have a way of sharpening it. For looks it is perfect, but if you intend to ever use it, it needs sharpened. I still say it's worth the money. It seems durable ans Well made. Details are wonderful. Seems to be balanced properly. I don't know about rust as I haven't had it long enough for that just yet.

I ordered 7 of these at once. These were my gifts for my groomsmen at my wedding. Each one getting one of these swords. We painted them a tiny bit beforehand and labeled them with names so you would know whose is whose. They were received very well. Everyone at the wedding was very impressed. IMPORTANT: They aren't for rough play or swinging around, rather for display, pictures, and showing off. They aren't built to be strong swords for role-playing. I mean come on, they are super cheap in price. Of course they aren't play-sworda. Still amazing product!

Build quality and craftsmanship is amazing given the price point. Value is stellar.

Dull blade (except very very sharp tip, be careful) and cheap frame. This sword is meant to be displayed, NOT swung around.

The sword was dull it came bent to the left dirty it was a good weight though but the durability was bad it was loose and the display of it was okay nothing crazy but the sheath came with scratches.

It's only good for display not for use. The blade is flimsy and not sharp at all and it even wiggles. It's cool for display though I have other swords that are sharp and sturdy not too pressed about this one.
