So far, very nice . Easy to peel Hard-boiled eggs.
I got this because I don't want to get a big 'insta pot'' but I heard that pressure cooker hard-boiled eggs are easy to peel. It does really work. I think the build quality, fit and finish seem excellent. It's a clever mechanism for sealing the lid as opposed to the heavy, cast aluminum, interlocking teeth and twist on pressure canners I've used before. The method that works for me is put the eggs inside on a reck, with 1 cup water, seal up the lid, get it boiling. Once steams coming out the vent, put their little weight on there. Once it vents, they call it a "whistle", I'd call it more of a blast. It's a little terrifying. Steam shoots out in 4 different directions. I would not want the kids next to it when it was cooking. Once the weight is on, time 3 minutes, shut off the heat for 10 minutes let it cool and then put the eggs in ice water. Once they've cooled off enough to handle crack them and they slip out amazingly easy. Try it, you'll like it.

So good I had to reorder !!! No more 2hr stews Hawkins gets it done in 30!
Easy to close*: Yep. Hawkins uses the classic "inside-fitting lid" with a simple locking handle. You just set the lid in, turn, and it locks. Way easier than the big screw-on lids, especially one-handed. - *Very safe*: This is why Hawkins is famous. It has 5 safety features: controlled gasket release, safety valve, proper pressure regulator, sturdy handles, and thick base. The aluminum body is also a good heat conductor so pressure stays stable. Just always check the gasket and vent pipe before use. - *Cooks meat really fast*: 100%. Pressure cookers cut cooking time by about 70%. Tough meats like goat, beef, chicken, or oxtail that take 1.5-2 hours on a pot will be tender in 20-35 mins in this. Perfect for curries, stews, and soup meat.

Excellent Quality and Easy to Use
absolutely love this Hawkins pressure cooker! ❤️ It looks exactly like the pictures, feels very sturdy and well-made, and the quality is amazing. It cooks food perfectly and is so easy to use. Live the material/ pressure control and so light weight I’ve been really happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable pressure cooker. 10/10!”

Supper tall designed. Small wider body. If you have family and kids you don’t need this
I am very disappointed with this item\. I waited almost three weeks for it to arrive, and when it finally did, I found that the pressure cooker was very small in width and unusually tall, almost like a tube\. We purchased this product because our current pressure cooker is too small for cooking lamb shanks and larger meals\. When we ordered a bigger pressure cooker, we expected one that was wider and had a larger cooking capacity, not one that was simply taller and narrow\. Unfortunately, the product did not meet our expectations or match what we needed\. Because of this, I returned the item\. I am looking for a pressure cooker that has a wide body, larger capacity, and a broad cooking surface rather than a tall, skinny design\. Overall, this was a disappointing experience with this Amazon purchase due to the misleading size and the long delivery time\.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Pressure Cooker for RV Travel and Everyday Cooking
We absolutely loved the Hawkins Aluminium 1.5 Litre Classic Pressure Cooker. It's lightweight, easy to use, and the perfect size for a small family or couple. We recently toured Yellowstone and Grand Teton in an RV, and this pressure cooker became our go-to cooking companion. We used it for almost everything—from perfectly cooked rice and dal to delicious curries and other one-pot meals. It heated quickly, cooked efficiently, and fit perfectly in our compact RV kitchen without taking up much space. If you're looking for a reliable, compact, and high-quality pressure cooker, this is an excellent choice. It made our road trip cooking simple and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Piccola, conveniente, efficiente.

Good size for cooking carp feed
Have bought this for cooking hemp seed & pigeon feed on the bank side, not tested yet but compared to my Tefal cooker, it’s very much larger, I use my petrol stove to do the cooking with, so a further review will be added when have used in about 7 days time, looks very simple to use too.

Cooks easy and fast
Bought it a couple of days ago for some quick cooking like lentils, chickpeas, kidney beans or rice. Works fine and is value for money. Noise level is minimal but don’t be alarmed but the sudden release of steam. It’s normal for this type of cooker to release steam at once after pressure is built inside. The cooker itself is lightweight and easy to use. Lid function can be a bit tricky for someone new to thus type of cooker and the lid nay seem to not fit in. There’s a trick to it. You have to insert the lid at a diagonal angle and rotate to lock it. Same while opening. Overall satisfied 👍🏻
