MC900B Amplifier for ATV UTV Car Marine - 500 High Output, 4 Channel, 2/4 Ohm, Bluetooth Multi-Function Remote, RCA Out, Weatherproof

Having seen this amp on Amazon, I ended up buying direct from Boss, as it worked out a fair bit cheaper, even from the US. It wasn't rocket science to fit. The wiring followed standard colours, so was a doddle to unwire my old DIN plug, and wire this one in place with no mix-ups. The sound is more than adequate. The quality is crisp and clear through the old 6x9 rears and 3" front speakers I had already fitted, though I'd definitely say the 500 watt output claimed is a little optimistic. The main down sides are that there's no way to alter the tone in any way. Neither is there a way to set the balance and fader, so folk that are heavily into audio setup might want to reconsider. Fortunately for me it seemed to come out of the box sounding pretty good. A simple fix for this would be for Boss to release an app that enables these settings, but there's nothing like that currently available. I did try to reach out to Boss about this but have had no response from them - which confirms what I've heard and read from others, regarding Boss having shocking customer relations. The one benefit I really like, is that the button panel fits perfectly into the original radio slot in my 1965 VW camper. I just need to find a way to hold it in from behind so I can replace my radio cover plate when the stereo is not needed.

Nice modern replacement for an old AM/Fm tape deck in my 1986 Harley Davidson. Fit in easily where the tape deck was originally installed with a little bit of creativity. I have it connected to a couple of Hogtunes speakers and I’m happy with how it sounds. Easily connect to my iPhone with Bluetooth and also keeps it charged with usb connection.

Easy to install, all clearly labeled. Excellent sound quality, small in size, easy to place in a hidden area, and the controller has a nice long cord so you can place it anywhere you want. The bluetooth connection is seamless and connects almost instantly. It’s an excellent value for the price, i haven’t bought a radio or amplifier that i have liked more. I use it with an iPad that i use for my radio and it charges it seamlessly. The USB cord only charges though so keep that in mind, its bluetooth only, but like I said it’s a nearly perfect bluetooth connection. It will also run a separate amplifier for a subwoofer or whatever you want. It’s a fantastic Amplifier with a great sound output and good volume control. No radio needed!!

I picked this up on a black Friday deal last year for my 91 Corvette. I'm really impressed with this little unit. I'm running some mid range pioneer speakers and it's very loud. Loud enough that driving 80 with the top off and you can still hear it clearly. I'm also using a software EQ which helps a bunch. There is no built in fader as others have stated. But you can easily wire in a fader control for $12 or so. This unit supports 4 and 8 ohm speakers which is a nice feature. Overall I'm really happy with it. No idea on longevity yet.
